That’s a Monster of a Grey Cab 3CX , You look after them they will Never let you Down
@PSExcavationsLLC2 ай бұрын
It is a nice grey cab model, not many good ones left now. If you start with a good peice of equipment in the first place, operate it correctly, service it when you should and use good replacement parts/oils, I would expect a good long trouble free service life, unless you're not so lucky and end up with something that has been made at the end of shift change 😄😆

Brings back good memories, i was working on a site as in the summer holidays in the mid 80's, and the waterboard had a 3cx fresh out of the box...plastic still on the seat, what a machine. Great video and great operator💪💪👍👍!!

I know what you mean, as a kid in the 80's, my series of 3CX was on every job, on the roads, in somebody's backyard, I remember the sound of that 4L Perkins turbo very well 💪💪 good times. Now I have my own and work it, great machine, good memories - thank you for the comment 👌👍👍

Another excellent job, paul. As the first chap said, the machine sounds a bit ropey at times. Is there something developing with that perkins engine?🤔 Hopefully, not 🤙
@PSExcavationsLLC2 ай бұрын
Thank you Benny, I thought the same when I was doing the job. I wont say too much now but yes, the mighty Perkins did have a problem 💪

Hi Mark, the exhaust elbow from the turbo was cracked, I will be going into the other problems we had with the engine later this year - thanks for watching ! 💪👌👍

@PSExcavationsLLC no problem great digger them your model all new ones all computerised
@PSExcavationsLLC2 ай бұрын
New ones dont really do the job any better, but when it comes time to repair and maintain, the new ones cost far too much and can leave you without an income from that machine for weeks if its an electrial issue!
