Dolly said something so pivotal, "It is time that people like us,( those in a public position to reach masses) reach out and share God to them, people really need this right now" Paraphrasing here, but that's what I got out of it and I agree. There are many who have been secular vocalist all their lives, but have been private believers. Find them and bring them on board. It will be powerful for those who have not made a decision for Christ yet, to see that vocalist they like are believers as well!

My mama turned 82 on July 6, 2019. She died July 10, 2019. I cared for her for the past 10 years. I gave everything I had, daily for those years. The first time I ever heard it was the night it was released featuring Dolly Parton, whom I have loved for 50 years. I needed to hear the words of this song so badly. My Mom died on July 2, 2018 if she had made it to her birthday that year she would have been 82. I know that God knows me and has carried our family through and on the 1 year anniversary of her being called home we just pray with deep gratitude for her love of The Lord and that witness in our lives. As we witness of Him we are filled with His spirit and don’t feel alone.

I just can’t even. You guys have no idea. You can’t even know. But God does. He so does. And I loved this song already. Like it was already being used by God to get to me. But then I watched the video of the version with Dolly and it was a spiritual experience from the first second of the first time I heard it last week and when I listen to it again after I write this I know it will be just as spiritual. Just like Dolly sings at the end “God only knows where to find you, God only knows how to breakthrough” he sure does. And for some reason adding her to this song is breaking through. And I can’t share my story on here but it will be an amazing story with the three of you used as His way to breakthrough to me. But this will be a very long, hard, and painful, journey but He knows and He will be there with me. So please pray for my journey and the ripples I pray it sends out to my children, my friends and anyone God chooses me to allow into my journey back to Him and the light from the night and the darkness, the pain, isolation, shame, guilt, and self loathing. Cause God only knows it’s gonna be like going through hell to come back from this.
