I am always thankful to see how raw and real you two are when talking about serious issues! Speaks volumes about your care and concern of the country and the people in it. I'm watching this in 2 years after it was upload and in the "The World" part, when they're talking about togetherness and being able to relate and setting an example for our kids, all I can think about are the songs, "Together", "Relate", "Cheering You On", and "Unity", and the stories behind those songs in their new album "What Are We Waiting For?"

Joel, I thought it was beautiful what you said about not just tolerating those who are different from us, but embracing their differences. It is so sad to see all of these often violent displays of hatred in this country...That's why I'm grateful for people like you and Luke who help encourage us, and who help spread love and God.

My absolute favorite group at the moment. Thank you for the Burn the Ships album. It has meant so much to me. The last few years have been such a struggle .... dealing with a medical mistake that has been covered up. ... a mistake that has shattered everything ... cost me everything... and has left me questioning if I mean anything to God. So many days I don't want to get up.. so many days I have prayed and cried out to God just to let me die.. Every day when I do get up and hurt... I do pray... and then I turn on your songs.... and I don't know how or why, but so far... here I am ... still breathing. All this has left me with severe PTSD and agoraphobia. You are my unicorn ... my dream to one day see in person... maybe one day y'all will come to Green Bay, WI and I will be able to make it there. And... I love the Vlogs!

She was different by the worlds standards because of some of her medical issues, but she didn’t let it stop her. Being near her throughout the whole show and just getting to experience her personality, her smile, and her light despite everything she’s been through was beautiful. My daughters are 35 and 31 years old. When they were young I taught them, I told them as I sent them off to school that they were not going to like everybody, because not everybody gets along and that was okay, but it wasn't okay to be mean to people they didn't particularly like or get along with. You can dislike somebody and leave them alone. I told them not to judge people by the way they looked whether that was pretty or ugly or a different color or ethnicity I told them to judge them by their character and how they treated them and not to worry about the outward appearance. I've raised two well-adjusted children, that get along with many many people. So as a parent it's just our responsibility to explain that you just aren't going to like everybody but it's not okay to be mean to them. You can still love them as God's children and treat them with respect when dealing with them even if they are not your best friend.

It hurt a lot. And although it's been over 7 months of hearing the song, I still cried at the concert and I have no clue why.
