As a Puerto Rican, it reallyyyyyy shocked me when I became aware of the bitter American political divide. It baffles me that even INSIDE THE CHURCH people can dislike each other over politics. If there's something that could change for good in America is understanding nationalism doesnt necessarily equate to government or politics. The government is a huge part of a nation but that's not the most important common denominator of a nation. There's more to being American than political views.

10:40 It's not complicated; most people don't want to accept the only answer: in this modern day of people going astray looking for a sense of belonging and importance, they fail to see that God is the only one who can help them. Our world has thrown at people that if you want to be pretty or important or famous, you have to look a certain way, act a certain way, have money, or else you're not worth being noticed. Our world through technology is more connected than it's ever been, but we have also become the most judgemental we've ever been. Listen, you don't need to be pretty or wealthy to be important. EVERYONE IS PRICELESS to God. If He didn't love us or didn't want us to eventually be in His presence, 1) why did He make us in the first place and 2) why would he send His only Son to die a horrible death SO THAT we could all one day be with Him?

My absolute favorite group at the moment. Thank you for the Burn the Ships album. It has meant so much to me. The last few years have been such a struggle .... dealing with a medical mistake that has been covered up. ... a mistake that has shattered everything ... cost me everything... and has left me questioning if I mean anything to God. So many days I don't want to get up.. so many days I have prayed and cried out to God just to let me die.. Every day when I do get up and hurt... I do pray... and then I turn on your songs.... and I don't know how or why, but so far... here I am ... still breathing. All this has left me with severe PTSD and agoraphobia.
