Amazing case, build, and music too. I was listening, thinking, "hey, that seems familiar... is this Nier Automata music?" And after I opened description, sure enough, the music is indeed from NA. Great choice.

You’re the best. Can’t thank you enough for this. I was trying to go for the exact same build but couldn’t find any tutorials. The only thing I would love to know is where did you get your fittings and tubing from. Cause I looked em up they’re sold in bulk sadly. I would appreciate it if you could direct me in the right direction. Thank you so much again for this!

I'm a plumber and I work with pneumatic fittings and tubing all the time and, although it's fine, seeing you use paper scissors to the cut the tubing instead of tube cutting tools had me cringe a bit. Just a little input, otherwise great build. If I'm able to get my hands on a T1, fully intend to go the pneumatic way for water looping. Just seems more cleaner and tidy compared to compression hard tubing and definitely more stress free.

Can i know the 13900k temp with 20mm thicc rad? I’m also planing for custom loop with 13900k and 3090 with 20mm thicc rad but considering for dual rad in formd t1 but if 1 20mm rad good i’ll go with 1 for now, so i wonder about the temp

Great video. I did the exact same build and while it’s definitely usable, the 4090 is just a bit too much for this case. Under heavy load (> 400W) it quickly heats up the loop even with the cpu idling as the hot air is pulled through the radiator. As soon you also have some load on the cpu, the water temps go to 50 C and above even at full fan speed. So it’s a nice experiment but not really viable as a daily driver, at least for me.
@GoldFus1on

@disco.volante
@disco.volante Жыл бұрын
@@GoldFus1on tried it with 5800x on x570-I and 13600K on b760-I. It is manageable if the 4090’s power limit is set to 70% or so but still not really quiet. It also helps to mount the PSU turned by 90 degrees so the cables don’t block the fan.

hello, I have 2 noctua fans just like yours, I'm going to the formd t1 v2, with aio fractual lumen v2 240mm, I would like to know if it is possible to use the 2 noctua fans or do I need any extra parts for this to work? because I saw in some videos people using 1 fan slim.

Got a similar build w/ V2 (13700K/4090). The only thing I don't like about the V2 is how the PSU is slightly tilted upwards on the left side when looking at it straight on. Pretty much every V2 build I've seen has the same issue. Yours would be at 9:57.

@Sabakoe737 look at 99% of the V2 w/ 4090's builds. When looking at the CPU side...the PSU is tilted on the left side upwards by about 7 degrees . Hard to see it, but it's hard to unsee it once you do.

I think the quick disconnects are the the non panel versions (MSFG4 & FSFG4) so no -P a the end. I am kind of curious if the panel mounted versions could be hooked up to the holes in the back of the case. Would make draining and refilling a breeze.

Hey man, sweet vid so far. I’m not finished yet but do you prefer aio water cooling over air cooling? Why should I pick one over the other? I made a parts list and for $$$ I figured I’d go air cooling to save a few bucks but I’m curious to hear your opinion. Tia
@k0rnd4wg69

aircooling is more than fine as long as you are realistic with your chip and use case. I'm running a 13900k, so aircooling with a LP aircooler is a bad idea

Currently in a Caselabs S5, eyeballing the 4090 ti, and hoping its a triple slot, or can be made smaller to fit this, thinking of selling/trading for a 7800X3D over my 13900k, decisions...

The problem with Step 9 is that the GPU Riser cable is too short most of the time and we all should have pre-plugged in the riser cable into the motherboard first before installing the mobo

I spent several hours filling my loop via a T-Fitting from EKWB in the T1. I have a 4080 FE and use a Modultra Lobo to cool the cpu. First, I leak tested the loop, then angled the case so that when I pour the water in it’s only going to the lobo so that air doesn’t get trapped in the pump. Next step is filling and moving the case around to get air up to the T-fitting. I repeated this over and over until I couldn’t hear air move around in the loop any longer even after aggressively shaking it. This would be easier using clear tubing which would make the air bubbles more visible.

I wonder if this can be achieved with the T1 Version 1?
@k0rnd4wg69
@k0rnd4wg69 Жыл бұрын
Somewhat doable. v1.1 fits the 40 series FE models fine. You just wouldn't be able to fit a slim 20mm rad with two 25mm fans like in the video since total radiator clearance in v1.1 is only 42mm vs 46mm in v2

Essentially it would run the length of the GPU at the bottom (instead of cutting across the top strut at 8:35) towards GEFORCE RTX label and rise up the front panel to the PSU, right? Would you recommend sticking with the 300mm length for the EPS cable and following the route in this video? Thank you! Again, great video - very helpful.
