You are not alone, many of the Zionist left and the anti-left, have gone back, after seeing with their own eyes the cruelty of Hamas Islam, on October 7, there are many, some do not talk about it, because it is very difficult to change your mind, even if you are convinced that it is so, But there is a difference between knowing with the mind, and transferring it to the heart, and issuing a message to the public that you were "wrong" all these years, it is really difficult, so there are those who do not tell and continue to deceive themselves, because of the "society they live in", and there are few who are willing To declare that they "returned", some in the form of weak words, and some in a declaration and change of sides, and join the right side. The equal side between the two, that it will take a little more time, and everyone will slowly internalize, how the world's antipathy and hatred for the Jews is getting stronger, and history is repeating itself, just as we are told in the Bible that "the law is, ``Do hate to Jacob,'' meaning that the Gentiles as a whole have hatred embedded in them To a Jew, almost without reason, - I met on KZbin, with those who responded to a video of Hasidic Jews dancing in joy and at Simchat Torah events, and wrote that they had nothing bad that these Hasidic did to them, yet when they see them they feel hatred, I don't understand why? That is, they wondered at themselves, why do they have hatred for these Jews who did them no harm? I answered them the truth like this: Nice, finally someone who tells the truth about where the hatred comes from without an explanation, about this the Jewish Torah says that Mount Sinai is called by this name because the word "Sinai" is the root of the word hatred in Hebrew, and hatred for Gentiles came down on Israel because they received the Torah, and the stick" God wants them to stay away from the impurity of the Gentiles, therefore He gave you hatred towards the Jews, so that you would hate them and they would be careful and stay away from you, so that they would not come to your impure deeds - I was happy to help you understand where your anti-Semitism comes from.

Wow I’m so sorry to hear that. As christians who believe God’s word we know that God himself is a zionist, and that he re-established the nation to glorify himself just as Emily said. The re-establishment of Israel wasnt man’s idea, it was by divine appointment and this event was clearly prophesied in scripture. Every christian or Jew who knows God’s heart for his Jewish people and who believes their scriptures is also a zionist.

Encouraged by Emily's testimony. I was fortunate to have been raised as an Israel loving Christian. I went to Israel as a young adult, planted trees in the Ben-Gurion forest & h spoke to our group. I find it difficult to understand how there can even be "Bible believing" Christians who don't understand our position in Christ. It seems they may not be Bible readers. We are the branch that's been grafted in. That does not mean that God has turned his back on Israel. Emily is correct on all the points she presented in this interview. Thanks, shalom!

I was anti-Israel for a number of reasons: 1. The people talking them up were the wing nuts in my country and they were giddy over how fierce Israel was in their responses, that sort of talk is off-putting for me (and it still is) 2. I was aware of settler violence in the West Bank, I still don’t understand why this is tolerated 3. Israel has a much stronger military and defense than the Palestinians, I felt they should have been the bigger person in their responses. 4. The other people talking up Israel were religious, Israel fits into their Armageddon narrative, I’m not thrilled about my tax dollars being spent on that considering this is the same group that detests paying taxes in the first place 5. Seeing leaders like Netanyahu come here and criticize our leaders and indulge in our one-sided politics also made me question why we sent money, especially when people critical of Israel were denied entry to their country. I didn’t understand the severity of the Oct 7th attacks right away, but when I did, I realized who the true villains were. The number of victims don’t tell the full story, it was the pure evil of the actions the Palestinians willingly carried out and then celebrated. Why would Israel want to share their state with psychopaths? Why would they want them as a neighboring state? This wasn’t freedom fighting, the settlers weren’t attacked, the IDF wasn’t the target of their attack, women, children, and even babies were their targets. The protestors in my country overlook all of this even though the evidence of their atrocities is overwhelming. It isn’t easy to break from my own voting block because of the polarized political climate I’m in, but what is the point of being liberal if you’re willing to accept such atrocities? They don’t seem to understand that Hamas is hiding behind their women and children, not out protecting them; they built an extensive network of tunnels for their militants, how many bomb shelters did they build for their civilians?

@@sodapopjones260 So the first question is about the political situation in your country - not rellevant. About Jewish settelers violence - they have clashes with "Palestinians" and it's often a fight between them. Sometimes it's retaliation. Israelis are in general peaceful and loving people with very bad PR because its convienent to hate us. We didn't ask for any of Israel's wars, but we're faced against evil incarnate and must answer the call, and we do it justly. Critisism is all well and good, but people are ignorant and use us to vent out their frustrations, which is a shame both for us, for themselves, and for the Palestinians as a people, as they perpetuate their horrible suffering at the hands of Hamas which brutalise its own people. I don’t know if you would but read the prophets in a language you understand well . Isaiah,Jeremiah,Ezekiel ,Daniel and Amos make a lot of statements about problems that all of Israel will face( not just Jews, Israel includes the 10 northern tribes plus Benjamin and some of Levi) . I have a sense I may be from Joseph but no proof. When northern Israel was scattered in 700 bce they could have gone anywhere. A good one is the last 2 chapters of Daniel talking of the temple being destroyed then the abomination that causes desolation being set up in its place. It all is so clear when you are connected with your creator like the people of the past.

Thank you for sharing. I'm so pleased to hear that your wedding went ahead, and congratulations to you both. I think the topic of Israel is difficult for people and I realise from the conversations that I have had since 7th October that people want you to choose sides. Many people struggle with the idea of saying I stand with Israel because the situation is not black and white. Many Israelis struggle with what's now happening in Gaza. I don't think there is a need to actually say I stand with Israel, but to just pray for the souls of people in that region and trust that GOD will intervene. Have a blessed day 🌷☺

Great interview with Emily! There is a part of the conversation dealing with Christian association to anti-Israel I would like to elaborate on, if I may. I am Christian and have studied a lot of theology, including the history of the Hebrew/Judaic people. I do agree that Christians of the past persecuted the Jews in different parts of Europe during history. Obviously, examples of this are the pogroms that have happened even in the 20th century before both World Wars. Since WWII, however, there has been a change in spirit within Christianity, thank God. There are more supporters of Israel and the Jews by Christians than we have ever seen. This is because we have understood that any violent persecution towards a group is against the will of God, as Emily also spoke about. During my lifetime, I have never heard of anti-Jewish sentiment except as a symptom of antisemitism that belonged to the past, at least within Christian circles. I do believe that now, most Christians understand the Hebrew/Judaic religion and ethos as the mother of which Christianity was born from. The antisemitic sentiment that may still be found in Christian countries may come from a more secular and political view. The Wokes, for instance, is born more from a leftist inspiration than a religious one. Blaming the Jews for killing Christ is an archaic sentiment that I believe has died out within the modern/post-modern era, especially since after WWII and since the Church has made alliance to democracy. I think a more profound view from a Christian perspective has also been engendered. One of the ways of allying to the drama of the crucifixion is to see the players as representing all of us. We can relate to the Jews, the disciples, to the Romans and the thieves who were crucified on each side of Christ. We can come to relate to the crucifixion as the women who wept all along the way of Christ's suffering pilgrimage, like the mother of Jesus. We can relate to the soldier who was beholden of Christ as he pierced his side, or to the soldiers who took joy in making him suffer. It is all a play of human drama when each of us come to encounter Christ as their savior through many different parts that we have played and on different levels, as the suffering Christ or as the those who inflicted suffering. The suffering of Christ for his identity of being Jewish is a drama that many can relate to for their own suffering. Right now, the Jews are suffering for being persecuted for who they are, and we should all relate to that in a compassionate way, as Christ has been our consolation for our suffering in the same way.

You hit the nail on the head with your theology. Too many Christian’s try to read the Tanahk (so called Old Testament) with a Western mindset rather than an Eastern mindset. I think the same applies to the New Testament as well. I think the translators of the original scrolls lost sight of that as well and as a result there’s a lot of mistranslation errors to boot in the majority of our modern Bibles. It’s best to read the Jewish Tanahk to learn the “Old Testament” along with Hebrew commentaries. The Rabbis who write the commentaries really bring it to life! All true Christians need to keep in mind that Yeshua was, is and always will be a Jew first and foremost and if you can’t love his people then how can you love Him?

In the 1980s when I was an atheist teenager. I supported what I thought was the desire for Palestinian independence. Though I was not against Israel. But I had a lot of questions as to why thing where the way they are. After my conversion away from atheism in 1993 that opened the door to look at the Bible as historical and I could see the prophecies related to Jesus of Nazareth and Israel. The pieces started to fall into place and a few months later I was born again. It was in the documentary Relentless and second intifada that I fully rejected Palestine as a fraud, a tool to try and destroy Israel. The Palestinians are mostly Arab and when we grasp this we can say that there are already over 20 Arab states, 'you guys just need to leave Israel alone'. God has made a promise to and through Israel and that is just the way it is.

I live in Israel , and there were so many miracles on October. I remember been so confusing with everything and scared like all my neighbours, I was outside of my house and I say to God : if I have to stay give me a signal or I take a flight to my family in South America, in that moment a feather came to me from the sky to my hand, I was curious but though maybe it was a bird so I went inside of my house and asked again , I was crying and praying and again another feather came to me , I knew that it was a signal. After that I could help many people in different ways , my friends and family in other countries didn’t understand why I stayed in that situation, but I felt that it was right and that God and angels were helping me. Many things happened to me in that time , and it was very hard to be in that situation and listening people outside saying that we were lying , that nothing was happening to us in Israel, people don’t realice how bad can act even writing in Ig but God and angels say to me: be compassionate, with people even with those that hate us and do bad things against us because at the end they are doing to themselves .

I'm glad I grasped Dispensational Pre-millenialism very early in my conversion from atheism to being born again several months later. Dispensational Pre-millenialism of all the eschatologies, it's makes the most sense of His plans and the Biblical timeline. Funnily enough, i24 Israel News was talking about Christians who are Dispensational Pre-M vs those who are of the replacement theology error. So Israeli are increasingly conscious of these matters.

Actually, in this piece of land there has been everything, EXCEPT A PALESTINIAN STATE. (Borrowed from a friend) A little more history for those wanting to 'restore Palestine'. In 132 AD the Emperor Hadrian resolved to stamp the Jews and their religion out of existence. He sold all Jewish prisoners into slavery after the revolt of Bar Kikhba, forbade the teaching of the Torah, renamed the province Syria Palaestina, and changed Jerusalem’s name to Aelia Capitolina. He renamed Israel to wipe out the national identity of Israel and the Jews. So if you are looking to 'restore Palestine to the Palestinians', you need to give it back to the Jews.
