Bill Barr’s book is a great read. The balanced judgment he brings to issues, albeit conservative, is a model others should take to heart. Example - re: criticism of the Courts - “it depends on whose ox is being gored” [how true this is for so many matters in life]. The U.S. would do well if he could be President; unfortunately it seems his balanced style is largely limited to his generation. While Trump is a lesser evil than anyone the Democrats will feasibly offer in 2024, Trump’s sniping at Mr. Barr give me pause and show how at least one side of Trump is pathetically small and petty.
