@@TheAnarchist99 well the point of my post is that I'm nowhere near doing a slow muscle up despite probably having enough strength (as stated by saying you need a lot more strength to do 1 arm pull-ups than doing slow muscle ups), thus I need to focus on technique as mine must really really suck

Those were legit. I like the subtle hints you provide like engaging the shoulders to keep your elbows straight. Also, in the rings video the picture showing where the ring should lay on your palm was very helpful thank you

Dude, you got me back into climbing more. I’ve been climbing a lot more lately and I’m super happy about my progress. I’m only 13, 5’10, 60 kg and In the last few months I have done my first lead, I belayed my dad and I led a 17. I’m so thankful that I have been watching your videos and being inspired to climb.

Thank you KZbin for recomending this absolute Chad's channel. You have helped me to be able to understand how to do certain exercises effectively. For instance that engage shoulders tip helped me a lot. I literally stood up from my PC and went to try a L-sit(I struggled a lot with it, I believed my core was weak) and I did it easily! Thank you for helping me to get closer to achieving my chalisthencs goals!!!!!!!!💪

You are a GENIUS. Filming yourself helps with analysing which you can improve faster, and you can also make KZbin video with it meaning you're earning from it as well. You also use KZbin tutorials to learn the proper techniques so you're basically 'training smart'. 👏👏

Im not a pro at calisthenics or muscle ups in general, but I tend to enjoy watching Chris Heria a calisthenics youtuber who can make a tutorial and different exercises to perfect these things and he can help you get realllllllyyyyy good at this. But I love what you're doing! Motivates me to keep going with my boxing training!

dang, your muscles and/or cns must be insanely strong for their mass to achieve it while looking fairly skinny, most people i see doing controlled muscle ups are ripped. im still stuck on ring muscle ups and they already feel really hard to achieve, great job!

@@GeekClimber i barely get the transition but then im too gased for the push/dip part, i think im just too weak at pushing (had a snowboarding injury fuck up my shoulder pretty bad earlier this year) so i will be training deep ring dips and see how it goes. on explosive bar muscle up i relied mostly on a really high explosive pullup to get the muscle up so i didnt even have to push much at all. love your channel man keep it up.

I am pretty good at pullups, I can do about 15 slow and controlled in a row, but I just realized that I am using only my fingers. I'm going to try this false grip technique you used and see what it does for me. Thanks for the video!

@@TheTMax I'm just starting to learn the false grip and it is quite uncomfortable. I have a bit of golfer's elbow hindering the progress though, but I can hang from a bar for a few seconds with closed fists. I guess I have to work the progressions. Just started calisthenics in Aug, can do 3-4 pullups and my max hang time was 56 sec with a weighted vest.

Hey man, great video! How much training did you do on each day? I know it’s every second day you just tried and did attempts, but do you know roughly how many attempts you made or any extra work you did? Thanks!

I trained 20~30 minutes for the muscle up per day. Within that time I did around 10 attempts.

The handstand needs a lot of time. .. I suggest Tom Merick's Bodyweight warrior channel because he mostly does only handstands😁
