Noooo a good amount of the romances have lasted!!!! obviously not all of them there are some great relationships that have lasted on the show, like the first bachlorette EVER, Trista and Ryan they are still together and have kids! Desire and her husband they have a kid now and are very inlove and in a healthy relationship, and I know other ones i just cant think of them right now. But yes alot of the relationships fail but when they succeed they are very good.

Patty C They said they regretted the show because it was scripted. I doubt if Catherine will be submissive. I watched them on on another reality show ( I forgot the name ) and when they were asked who won the the fight all the time, and they both agreed that Catherine won all the time. It looked like Sean let Catherine wins, even if he thinks he was right so there will be no trouble. They said they do not argue a lot and they are religious couple. I think their relationship will last. Catherine is part Filipino, and in our tradition, marriage and children are #1 priorities. Filipino women were raised that way because there is no divorce in the Philippines.

Based on watching their interviews Catherine definitely have a lot of voice in their relationship.
