@@Dis2good I worked there for 5 years, and really it was only management and corp. The regular joes had to sell, or they were pushed out. Once they would do a legit acct opening, the management were the ones that then added more products. I came after, so Im not protecting them just because I did it. When I got there, we were not allowed to solicit any thing at all, but a few vets were left to tell the tale. After that debacle, if a customer called wanting to even know info on an acct type, unless you were in the limited sales dept, you had very specific guidelines you had to follow (and a page of the only info you could give before transferring to sales).

He discovered that dormant accounts, which aren't monitored for extended periods, often held substantial funds. Using his access to the account numbers and the necessary technology, he created debit cards and began withdrawing money. At first, everything seemed to go smoothly. However, he failed to consider the red flag raised by withdrawing large sums-activity that inevitably draws attention. This situation had little to do with homelessness; had he taken smaller amounts, the theft might have gone unnoticed for years. But that's the nature of theft: once you take a little, it becomes a slippery slope. The need to take more grows exponentially, leading to eventual exposure.
