What I cannot fathom is that life for everyday Brits is getting worse and worse. The country is getting deeper and deeper in debt, as are many of it's citizen's. An excellent summary. As we saw the first acts of Charles was to hand over a billion pound estate, tax free, to his already privileged son. I'm ashamed that I live in a country that has a medieval feudal system at it's core. The stench of deference and unearned privilege is a blight on our society. The royals have successfully carved out this 'untouchable' position within the british culture and psyche. This is unacceptable in a modern 21st century society. I started early too. Growing up in a republican household I didn't get past the first day at the militaristic cub scouts as I refused to swear allegiance to the queen. Who is this guy? Brilliant. As an ex British soldier and descendant of the "commonwealth" I fully support this. I realised while in the army that we were nothing more than expendable assets and as civilians were all just tax paying subjects. I love seeing the people waking up. EXACTLY! Alex Lewis in UK comes to mind who lost his limbs to sepsis and couldn't get a decent set of limbs from the NHS and had to fund raise for YEARS, all while the pigs were cruising the globe dining on the best eats and living in huge palaces all while having perfectly functioning limbs, and could have found that money in their sock drawers! I've been so depressed with what's been going on in the last month. This crew were just the top mafia family from a thousand years ago. They went 'legit' and their hold is absolute. Absolutely frightening, depressing and paralysing. These people and their henchmen make Putin look like a child. It's bad enough to force the repeated acknowledgement of the queens passing on families who'd lost their own loved ones around the time (mine included), when they might just want some normalcy or, at least, to not face the reminder of death over and over again. But to close the food banks? That's ridiculous. A church in my town stopped their weekly food giveaway and asked the people who were going to attend if they wanted to sign the book of condolences. Never mind that the food might have been the only warm meal some might have had that day. All in all, I'm not against people mourning the queen and I understand she was a big figure (well, if I didn't then I do now ). But the reaction the country had to her passing is shameful when problems and the world don't stop for anyone else's passing.

Yes. Why don't we just totally ignore them. Let them call themselves whatever they like but no money. No duties. There is no job for them. We don't need or want them.
