Crime victims? What about the people potentially wrongfully convicted based upon the falsified evidence? She should be charged and prosecuted. Tampering with evidence is a felony. The only fair thing to do is to through out those 600 some cases that relied on the falsified evidence. It's starting to seem like this is becoming a reoccurring theme lately.

Illinois had this problem actually put a couple of people to death. They sidestepped it by saying it was a clerical error further investigation by an outside source showed that it was absolute manipulation of the truth. This is related to a very warm and fuzzy relationship with the person that was sleeping with a couple of police officers and wanted to be the center of attention in their investigations and provided them with whatever they needed. She would ask what they needed and then she would Provide it.

IT DOESN'T COST THE STATE ANYTHING IT COSTS THE PEOPLE
@ScottGrammer7 ай бұрын
The motivation might not be money. She might just be one of those people who thinks they need to "help" the police, and so she did. Maybe at the suggestion of someone else in the system, maybe not. But you can bet on it, the State will fight EVERY case where a conviction was had and where this corrupt tech's work was involved. They will try to save those convictions, even when they know they're wrongful.
@7heRedBaron7 ай бұрын
Helping the police and prosecutors was helping herself. Their appreciation quietly gets back to her hierarchy which moves her up. Prosecutors hate hard and fast facts. They start a case, research the laws, accumulate the evidence, build a motive for months and then the DNA lab comes in and says nope! no way no how! There must be more than one researcher in the state of Colorado. How did this one become the lead? Yes, indeed.
