Oregon had the second highest rated DT in Derrick Harmon this year. Led the nation in QB pressures from the interior. Set career highs in sacks, tackles, and TFL. They need better linebacker and secondary play. And absolutely right about interior OLine.

All the teams that were favored won. It's a crazy concept

I would like some feedback. My idea is to fix college football. Implementation of a simple rule. Players get one transfer per five years. If they choose to transfer twice they must take a wait year or play down a division. I’m good with a kid deciding he’s not ready or needs more time to mature his game. I’m okay with a player improving his career but multiple transfers with all the disruption and no consequences.

I believe the US Government said it's illegal to limit player movement unless they are employed.
@Sloopy4196 күн бұрын
@a3gill exactly this. You are violating labor laws and the Supreme Court has made it clear the ncaa has gotten away with violating these laws for decades

I ain’t taking advice from this guy in Lanning. Mirror franklins team? The same one that we beat in the BIG10 championship where we gave up virtually no sacks?? Tf is this guy

These channels act like Dan Lanning is the reincarnation of bear bryant the last 1.5 - 2 years and now this guy is recommending to fix their team they have to copy what Franklin's done at penn state? 😂

Dan Lanning type coaches are the new breed players coaches, balanced leadership versus hipster

@gohdux what's different about him that makes him some new breed? He's a young coach who got the Oregon job based on the Georgia 2021 defense, which was Kirbys defense. I think he's a good young coach but the media fell in love with him after that Colorado pre game speech he gave last year and were about to hand him the most prestigious historic job in college football after 2 seasons at Oregon losing every single big game with literally the most experienced quarterback in ncaa history. He pretends he turned it down bc he has unfinished business or something cliche like that at Oregon, but everyone knows atleast during this current wide open zero regulations nil environment the Oregon job is the top job, Nike University. Idk maybe I'm missing something with him lol 🤷 atleast he actually won a couple big games this year

@@manchetti8851and who brought those players in for those back to back national championships teams ? And where are those players now ?
@manchetti88514 күн бұрын
@rondolbysound321 lol I guess kirby just couldn't have pulled it off without Lanning. By your logic kirby carried saban defensive recruiting wise for 8 years at bama. Why didn't any players who were just so blown away impressed by Lanning that they couldn't help but commit to Georgia then follow him to Oregon? Did any at all? Now today I'm reading about him supposedly meeting with Robert Kraft. Like i said before, it's gotta be me i guess I'm apparently missing something that everyone else sees with this guy 🤷 so let me stop hating the player and start hating the game lol. It'll be ironic if he got the patriots job and drafts Travis Hunter

Boise was one sided play calling trying to force feed Ashton and not getting creative in play calling, notice when they got Ashton outside it opened plays up first touchdown for example. They also have other rbs behind Ashton. Defense did all right 4 sacks. But huge weakness, even Franklin Penn state head coach mentioned he would expose it poor tackling, poor secondary coverage. Not disciplined enough in those areas.
