How the artwork has evolved over the years. From a marker drawing a stitch to what’s on this video. It was thought that these designs were only temporary when the helmet and cage replaced the molded masks. Then the molded mask cage combo caught on and not going anywhere anytime soon. Even the pads, gloves, and sticks have unique designs. Hockey is fun!!

I have 2 masks that I love so much and cherish and both I've worn while playing. One inspired by Eddie Belfour(one of my idols) and the other is a similar gargoyle style painting in honor of Marty and that one is actually signed by the man himself on the back plate. He wrote "To Jt, Think like a brick wall, become the brick wall - Marty Turco". My Ed Belfour mask isn't signed but that's ok because while I looked up to Ed, i was only alive for a small part of his run with the Stars and I grew up watching Marty and playing with a similar play style to the Turconator. Thank you Marty for treating me like a friend, not just a huge fan.
