She was a prima ballerina the highest rank in any ballet company. She can't be untalented (I'm not saying that she is telling the truth) I'm just stating that you can't be a prima ballerina in any company and be untalented

Exactly. She was completely mediocre on stage. She is a big brawler and a shame of Russian ballet. She has absolutely nothing to do at the Bolshoi Theater.

partially true she was talentated because in vaganova she was a favourite of madame dudynskaya and was potentially very good but lost soon the necessary discipline to develop in a really great ballerina despite in his early time in kirov was not so bad later in bolshoi was unwatchable

Anastasia Volochkova has been regarded as one of the most exquisitely talented ballerinas in Russian ballet. As for physique, hers is everything you would expect from a prima ballerina. She definitely didn't get fired for that. There is practically no reason for her to lie. It's funny how the every allegation of sex harassment is met with disbelief and scorn from people.

She isn't.. she was there because her admirers were giving Bolshoi big money, do you think she bought that giant ring herself? In one show she was bragging how she got it, from which man etc and how much it cost and it wasn't cheap. She is very materialistic and nobody was making her go out with all the rich men. But on the other hand there was a lot of corruption at Bolshoi so what she is saying is partially true. Many disgusting things were happening there, especially coming from a director and artistic director Filin (later, after she was gone).

Anastasia Volochkova is 100% accurate. My wife Ukrainian and mother She also worked as a pianist in Bolshoi. Anastasia doesn't go to bed with the money giver, people like me who live in Russia and know Russian women will know what I'm saying. Anastasia chose men who go a dinner, luxory clubs, bars and Jewelry, cars etc. characteristics other than money, and married if necessary. Bolshoi Opera and Ballet directors pressured Ballerinas and Ballets to find women and men for the Oligarchs, mafias and politicians my mother knows...

Joy Womark has also interesting stuff to say about this. She is the only dancer from the USA to graduate from the Bolshoi Academy. She has her own channel and has been quite forward and clear-speaking about the way things work there.

Cops sell the most beautiful prostitutes in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. I've lived in countries i've been named after for years. My wife's mother is Russian, her father is Ukrainian. If you can find the right seller, you can make an appointment with the Bolshoi ballerina for dinner. The rest depends on how talented, intellectual and Playboy you are. And if no Russian or Ukrainian has If she doesn't find anything interesting, she doesn't have sex! What I'm saying for Anastasia is invalid because she chooses the richest oligarchs herself, and if she wants to, she's married.
@lilymarie1582
@lilymarie1582 3 жыл бұрын
@@Prenseskarolinatv480 That doesn't make prostitution right. No matter what form. So much that I've heard of Russian sports/ballet/figure skating, since it's often state funded, if you don't do what they say they can take your career away. Also it is one thing to choose to be a prostitute (or whatever the correct name is) and do it willingly. It is a whole different story to be pressured into doing it.

What she is alleging can happen anywhere. American ABT ex-ballet dancer Ethan Stiefel was reputed to be in a relationship with a wealthy female donor before he retired, despite having a girlfriend.

There's a difference between doing it because you choose to and because you were pressured or forced to. I get the feeling Ethan Steifel chose to do so on his own terms. Not because the ABT told him to.

What the fuck is wrong with you all? This stuff IS happening. Ballet companies have always relied on donations and such things. Ballet dancers themselves get paid peanuts because it is not a well paid job. This is an issue that has been happening for a while now.

Actually in Russia ballet dancers are high paid. And treated like celebrities. The reason they sleep with important men is to get big roles, or to help the company so they like them. Love your comment though!
@koalapayslater

Rio Hemmings Actually Bolshoi doesn't rely on donations as it's 100% supported by the government. Of course if we compare the wages with the UK or US ones it will be nothing but they are paid normally for Russians standards.

well that is how the world works. All the women who are in Bolshoi are all super beautiful and super talented but for every beautiful, charming, stunning, talented ballerina there are a 100 out there just like her. To stay at the top you have to sleep your way to the top. It is no different than Hollywood. There are a million gorgeous talented actresses but to get the few roles in the few movies in Hollywood you have to use your beauty and sexuality to get ahead and you have to be able to sleep with someone to get ahead of the competition. I completely understand why the women do the things they do. The rules of life are unfair but no one said life was fair, only that you have to know how to play the game. I don't blame the ballerinas one bit, it is cutthroat out there and they have to succeed and stay in power somehow.

Right? This is literally the history of ballet. They would take street urchin girls, train them, and prostitute them to wealthy 'patrons' of the opera in Paris. I guess Russia is keeping the tradition strong. Disgusting.
