I highly recommend you to watch his interview to see and to decide for yourselves. He advocated all people from America and Russia to not hate each other and his experiences in jail. Victor Bout was indicted and convicted for trafficking arms to the FARC in Colombia. Gustavo Petro former FARC Commander has recently been elected President of Colombia. Therefore if the FARC wants to get it's hands on more lethal aid if at all they no longer need to approach Victor Bout they can run this through the Presidency of that country.
