I’d like to see Shawn Ryan on Mikes podcast. Mike was episode one on Shawn’s pod. Let’s hear a little more from Shawn! I feel like he’s got a lot more to say and would be an awesome guest.

Absolutely agree!!! Shawn has always been such a great interviewer! He is always so respectful and humble the way he decides to speak, listen, commend and console!! He most certainly has a myriad of fantastic stories and experiences yet to be told!!!!

Yes please! Shawn always gets to ask the questions these days but I am 100% positive he has many more answers over the years of the public journey he has been going through here on KZbin that he can speak to after hearing all of the stories he's helped give a platform to and the internal and family struggles hes had to overcome himself as well and your journey on KZbin and getting boots on the ground out here in America Mike... We all want to see you 2 talk again :)

After 32 years in the Fire Service it took me 3 years to find my new self. Still working on refining my inner peace and living with the permanent demons of on the job trauma but all is good! I was privileged to work with several special operators who transitioned into my beloved profession, all hard workers, all go getters, all had deployment baggage that was pilled on firefighter baggage.

I imagine years ago, when Chris was still runnin' and gunning, he was a terrifying individual who was intimidating to even look at... NOW, (and PLEASE understand I write this in the most positive and respectful way) I am looking at one handsome gentleman who is intelligent, vulnerable, honest, passionate, and driven to help and eagerly still serve his fellow SF team members. Fearlessly admitting his own demons in order to let others know they are not alone. Fucking bad ass!!! ❤
@danielcampbell94579 ай бұрын
well your not wrong about any of that ( or disrespectful at all), shit when he was only a handful of years in delta he was HAND PICKED to go on a EXTREMELY important AFO mission, aka, the "you were never there because the US aint supposed to be there, so dont get caught" type in Somalia, with 1 other delta operator, 2 devgru operators, 2 RRC operators, and 2 24th STS operators. now only the most experienced and/or capable operators from each of the 5 tier 1 units undertake AFO missions. i think delta's "recce" platoon or there "G squadron" is there AFO platoon. So for him to be in delta's " "delta force" after only being apart of the unit for like 6ish yrs is INSANE, he was still in his late 20's, while there was dozens of operators who had much more time in then him, so id imagine chris was in the 98th-99th percentile of his squadron when it came to operating competency, shooting, tactics, etc... , possibly of all 4 assault squadrons.

I love Chris, man. I hope he drops in every so often now that he lives close by. 😉 He's so eloquent, such a rare gem. Other operators may have great combat stories but few can tell it like Chris does. I'm thankful for Mike for getting Chris on the Fieldcraft podcast. Without the positive feedback from that podcast, we might have never gotten to hear all of Chris' cool stories.

I like Chris because he seems like a lover rather than a fighter at heart. But he became a fighter, and went through some shit, and came out with an amazing story in which he lived to tell the tale, but it also encompasses the full range of emotion which makes it REAL!

Mike, great having Chris and his insight regarding the All Secure Foundation. From Shawn's show and yours, appreciate Tom, Chris, and others acknowledging to our brothers, its "ok" to reach/seek healing support. Plan to engage with ASF, once current Headstrong program is complete. Keep up the great content and enjoy the weekend.

What about regular toopers. Who were not rambos who are old and messed up from trauma/ drama. The blue hairs at the VA I tried to volunteer at the by e VA they demanded I get the newest serum in the arm. I’m in the north Florida. I have a old farm with dogs my mom just passed away in my arms vascular dementia. No family. I feel like I’m on a far away planet and can’t speak the language. No social media. No cable. U tub is just as sick but I’ve got to try. I’ve walked and prayed today. I’ll do chores and read more and wake more. the VA made me worse. They ain’t turning back. I don’t do bars or brothels.
