Total nostalgia. Seems like I'm back to 2015 or something. This was how Down & Dirty could be and I'm not disappointed. Great Job!

This album really surprised me, wasn't that bad, nothing mind blowing but definitely enjoyed giving the album a listen, production on the choruses could've really made a difference in my opinion

It wasn’t the Down & Dirty album we wanted but they did a great job delivering a good mix of D&D/ DMO and as much as I wanted a D&D album I’m not dissatisfied with what we got.
@Andy_1872 жыл бұрын
The Denis and Ezekiel era of D&D was the peak imo, I was hoping for those big choruses and simple but catchy riffs. This album was okay, but it just felt like heavy for the sake of heavy at certain points.

I don’t think he or the boys really wanna big big rockstars… it’s so weird. They literally have a Down & Dirty sound but won’t give it to us much 🫠

“sex, drinks, ive downed every bottle” is what he says. although i laughed at what the chat was saying lol, it’s sad cause i remember soon after he left aa he posted a photo to insta that was just a shit ton of alcohol bottles with the caption “no comment” and shortly after he deleted it :( he was definitely going through shit during that time.

I don’t understand why you would make a reaction video to a band that you obviously hate the vocalist of. It was infuriating to watch you praise the music but trash the vocals on nearly every song. I agree that the screams are a bit over layered, but Denis’s singing & hooks on the choruses are god tier.
@ChristianGreyReacts2 жыл бұрын
Interesting take. I do not hate his vocals and repeatedly mentioned his voice being amazing both singing and screams. It was the melodies that I wasn’t super into though I also would state when a vocal delivery on specific lines were really impressive despite me not liking the melody itself or whatnot. If you like these hooks that’s sick but I don’t think they are hooks for the most part. Interesting you took that as trashing on the vocals. All good though it’s just music

I've listened to the full album, it was awesome, it's right up there with The Black from AA, well technically it's still Denis Stoff, but I still love Denis Stoff, I can't wait for the next album.

The words DMO sketched in the top left of the album cover I feel like they kinda took some idea from Main De-Gloire they haven’t come out with much but I still feel like it replicates or resembles something MDG did with artwork… I remember originally the watch of the buried art turned out to be stolen …. :( hope this isn’t something g they did to MDG even tho it’s not a popular band…

It seem Denis do more variation and show off his vocal more in this new album.

I completely agree with you on the chorus sections. It's not just this band, either. It's just the modern trend in music. Vocals have become more of an "instrument" rather than being the main focus of the song, as opposed to back in like 2010-2012 when Metalcore hooks were heavily influenced by the pop music of that time (Katy Perry, for example) where the hook of the song always EXPLODED. I personally love and miss that old style of Metalcore. It was just so fun! Hilarious video title, by the way LOL
