FORGIVENESS is huge! I wished more preached about this. Joni, it is not about Christ forgave us so we need to forgive but the other way around!! You said the Lord's Prayer "forgive us our trespasses AS WE forgive those who ..." Pay attention to what comes first, is it God's forgiveness or ours? It is ours! 3 bible verses confirm it: "but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:15 KJV "But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses." Mark 11:26 KJV "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:" Luke 6:37 KJV
