Loved this place as a kid im from Canton and my dad worked at Republic Steel and they would have their shop picnics there mom would cook homemade food the night before pack up the copler and go great times the Wildcat roller-coaster that would beat you to death the water ride we had a blast at Idora its sad to see parts of your childhood fade away im 61 now another pkace for his shop picnics was Chippewa lake they had an amusement park also we went there too just like so many things that are gone from when i was a kid like the drive in movies and as of about the last 12 years or so shopping malls its sad but life evolves its the natural order of things great video.

Went to Idora park every summer for my Grandpaps Union picnic. Have so many great memories of the park.
