He tends to overestimate the power of being labelled antisemitic in the world today. In the Muslim world it has no effect, in Europe perhaps some effect, in America very much so, because of the hold American jews hold over politicians there.

Third world war .. Walking into it , waiting for Columbus or should I say Khalid Bin Waleed .. WWI and WWII, European Wars the spoils of which had left the Muslim lands colonised , people disfranchised ,occupied and divided ,once ruled by a central authority for 1200 year as an Ummah . Events like the usurping of Palestine, and replacing by a European colony rekindles a longing for a robust undivided Ummah under one authority. Erdogan, Muhatir or Imran Khan could perhaps be that leader.

It is our duty to tell the truth about what we are seeing. It is our duty to tell the Truth about ALL of this. Remember this era- because if we don’t stop this - what is to come promised to be far worse. The way we live, the way we have structured Life - causes Palestines, we need to really accept that our choices- all of them are connected. What we do, how we think, how we live matters. This way isn’t working. We all need to do better. And as I write this two ads back to back playing jaunty little Christmas carols trying to sell me something… this is sick. We must commit to never being silent, and to tell the truth about what we saw. Free Palestine 🇵🇸 ✊🏽🙏🏽🇵🇸

America may be wrong vetoing the ceasefire but Israel has 'only just' declared war a month ago and it's clearly not ready, then or now, Better wording would be a permanent bombing ceasefire I feel. That is the most inhumane aspect of the conflict that the UN could have been specific about. As much as a permanent ceasfire being the better option is, stopping the bombing aspect might be far more realistic a request.

Good interview but there are still too many myths flying around . The Oslo agreements were never serious on the part of Israel. The problem is in the very constitution of a majority ethnic state going way back to 1948 and before. Israel was to be the US middle east policeman and nothing the Israelis did interfered with this role. An incremental genocide of the Palestinians has been ongoing since. Tha uprising on Oct. 7th gave the Israeli govt. the ideal opportunity to speed up the genocide and ethnic cleansing from the river to the sea. This has always been the end game for most Israeli politicians. 😢🇵🇸✊🇵🇸

I think what I heard here was a very knowledgeable and empathetic description of a long and consistent downward descent toward the destruction of the Palestinian people. I think it is telling that even if a ceasefire happened now, the damage to Gaza has been done and is irreparable. Once that ceasefire or perhaps the Israeli’s will call a halt at some point on their own, their troops and guns will be trained on the West Bank

Gaza was turned into a military battlefield by Hamas, to ambush the IDF. All that Hamas needed was an invasion by the IDF. Oct 7 functioned for that. Are you going to deny the tunnels? The routing of subsidies meant to improve people's lives? This sort of interview really makes me puke. For starters, let this girl get that ring out of her nose.

Mr Levy, Firstly, I would like to thank you. You are an intellect with decency and humanity. Also, thank you so much for your insight with respect to the Camp David Peace Negotiation/meeting between Palestinian and Israeli Gov brokered by America (former President Clinton). You hinted in that meeting that “America was playing a role of Israel’s Lawyer” confirmed my suspicion that the US was Not Impartial. Finally, I especially appreciated your insight about the fact that, the late President Bush put “the threat of America’s Aid/Money” on the table as a mean of pressuring the Israeli Government to stop illegal expansion of settlements. Thank you.

I wonder if his experiences as a serving IDF soldier shaped his stance thereafter. Seems strange that he could go from being head student for anti racism at Cambridge to national service in the IDF. He didn't mention being an NCO either.
