Gaza: Understanding the Houthis & Will US Muslims Abandon Biden? with Sami Hamdi

We have now passed three months of the Gaza slaughter, and according to the UN, Gaza has become uninhabitable. During these past few days, we have seen another frenetic series of diplomatic meetings by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in the region as the US looks to consolidate the status quo. The genocidal intent of the Israeli state. If it was unclear at the start of the conflict, it is clear now that the United States has given the green light to the Israelis to mete out their punishment. The Arab and Muslim states have, it seems, mostly acquiesced with the US. In public, they condemn, whereas in private, they look the other way or, in the case of Egypt, conspire with the US and Israel to make sure Gaza’s resistance is erased. We have, however, seen signs, that can be interpreted as further escalation. The Houthis in Yemen have now accosted over 20 ships in the Red Sea, and on Lebanon's southern border, there remains an active engagement with Israeli soldiers.
To help us understand the complexities of the current crisis, I have invited Sami Hamdi back into the studio. Sami is the director of the International Interest, a risk advisory.

What then should the *MUSLIM UMMAH* do about the issue of *ISRAEL-PALESTINE?* Is it the time to raise Muhammad’s army? Are you ready to join Imam MAHDI'S army? I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be CAPTURED, the HOUSES RANSACKED, and the WOMEN RAPED. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. *Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations,* as he fights on a day of battle. On that day *his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,* east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south." (Zechariah 14:1‭-‬4‬) This prophecy above is from the true God of Abraham and not from the 7th century Allah of the Qur’an who clones himself as the God of Abraham and the prophets. Also, if you are willing to believe it, the above prophecy is a prophecy of *the return of Jesus on the Mount of Olives* (Acts 1:9-12) and not in Damascus, as is claimed of Isa the false Jesus of Islam.* The prophecy correctly prophesizes that the Israelites will be back in Israel at the end of the age. The return of the Israelites to Israel in 1948 is a stunning fulfillment of Ezekiel 38:8 *[the prophecy about "future years" when "a land whose people were regathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual wasteland"]* As the Muslim ummah realizes the importance of unity among the nations and raising Muhammad’s army in the coming war against Israel, the prophetic book of Psalms says of the nations who are against Israel: 'They have taken crafty counsel against Your people [Israel], and consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; *They form a confederacy against You"* (Psalms‬ ‭83:3‭-‬5‬). ‭ It is true that one of the dream events in Islamic eschatology is the invasion and defeat of Israel by Islamic nations *(confederacy/Khilafah)* led by Allah's *MAHDI.* But the true God, your Creator, issues a strong response against this scheme of the false god (Allah of the Qur’an) who appears in the 7th century: “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, *though all nations of the earth are gathered against it. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against JERUSALEM.* (Zechariah‬ ‭12:2‭-‬3‬,9) You might ask: "Allah's Islamic nations will seek to invade and destroy JERUSALEM [Israel], so why is God in the above scripture, defeating the nations that seek to destroy Israel? You see, according to Islamic eschatology, at the end of the age, *ALLAH'S all-conquering FINAL CALIPH* (the MAHDI) and his *Islamic confederacy of NATIONS* (perhaps under a revived Turkish Caliphate) and all their armies (including the Black flags of Khorasan) will INVADE Israel "and not rest until they are set up in JERUSALEM"! You see, according to Bible prophecy written long before Islam, at the end of the age *SATAN'S all-conquering ANTICHRIST* and his *confederacy of NATIONS* and all their armies will INVADE Israel! If Islamic prophecy is fulfilled, the all-conquering MAHDI of Islam will be the all-conquering ANTICHRIST. At the end of the age, the Most High God seeks to PROTECT Israel but ALLAH of the Qur’an and his MAHDI seek to DESTROY Israel. (Make for yourself who Allah of the Qur’an really is) This is a warning to beloved Muslims deceived into believing in a false 7th century Kaaba god (who claims to be the Most High God) and a REVERSE end times prophecy which will place Muslims on the wrong side of the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (the Most High, Creator) because Allah of the Qur’an, who steals the identity of the Most High God (Isaiah 14:12-14), desires to stand in OPPOSITION to God's plans. Beloved Muslims, seek the true God while he may still be found (Isaiah 55:6)

Are the Israelites *a western imperial OCCUPIER* of the land they dwelt in in 1948 or did they RETURN to the land given to them by the Judeo-Christian God of Abraham (whom Allah of the Kaaba claims to be in QS 29:46) through the holy covenant of LAND which God had with Israel? Is this covenant still active TODAY? Educate yourself and others. Yes, the true God (the Almighty, Creator and the Most High) does have a holy and everlasting covenant with Israel (which is effective today) called the *ABRAHAMIC COVENANT,* which was passed on from Abraham to Isaac and finally to Jacob (Israel): "I will establish my covenant as an EVERLASTING COVENANT between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will GIVE as an EVERLASTING POSSESSION to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.” (Genesis 17:7‭-‬8) Some use such words as 'the Israelites "INVADED" Canaan' as if God's promise and decree to Israel is unjust? God GAVE the land to the Israelites. It is wickedness to go against God's covenant. [Even the Qur'an (QS 5:20-26) confirms that the 7th century Allah of the Kaaba, who FALSELY claims to be the Judeo-Christian God, says he gave the land to the Israelites although the land was in the possession of another nation (the Cannanites]. *The ABRAHAMIC COVENANT OF LAND is UNCONDITIONAL.* It did not depend on both parties keeping commitments. It is God alone who tied himself to the covenant, not Israel, because it is God who PROMISED to give Israel LAND, descendants and blessings, and God keeps his promises and covenants. There are no terms for Israel to break which is why the covenant remains effective TODAY (with the exception that any Israelite who did not get circumcised would be cut off from the land). *Almost a thousand years later, King David recalled this covenant:* "you his servants, the descendants of Abraham, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob. He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth. He remembers his COVENANT FOREVER, the promise he made, for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with ABRAHAM, the oath he swore to ISAAC. He confirmed it to JACOB as a decree, to Israel as an EVERLASTING covenant: “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.” Psalms 105:6‭-‬11 [Do not confuse *the holy and everlasting ABRAHAM COVENANT of LAND* with the *OLD COVENANT OF THE LAW OF MOSES* which had terms and CONDITIONS and in which God promised to bless Israel if they obey his laws (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) and a list of curses (Deuteronomy 28:15-68) if they disobey. Israel broke this covenant and God indeed cursed and brought disasters upon Israel. However, this did not affect the first covenant (Abrahamic covenant) which is in force even today.] What many Muslims do not know is that *the formation of the state of Israel in 1948* is a stunning fulfilment of the prophecy of God in Ezekiel (38:8) [the prophecy about "future years" when "a land whose people were REGATHERED from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual wasteland"] This is present Israel which the Jews have returned to, almost 2000 years since their scattering after the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman army led by the prince, Titus, in AD70. In 2005 Israel withdrew all Israeli security forces and 21 settlements (9000 Jews) from the Gaza Strip *in the absence of peace negotiations.* You can raise the "75 years" argument all day long but all big things start from small beginnings. The withdrawal, a small gesture of goodwill, would allow Gaza to develop their economy and build a peace-seeking society, which is developed, free, law-abiding, and transparent and which adheres to democratic principles. Palestine could have been the Hong Kong of the Middle East... But what do we know? Hamas soon won elections there and the agricultural and industrial infrastructure left by the Israelis was destroyed and Hamas immediately began shelling Israel with rockets and have continued to invest billions towards their terrorist infrastructure underground. Is that how you repay a neighbor trying to live peacefully with you? And then just before October 7, Israel had been working on a peace treaty with Saudi Arabia, in the spirit of the Abrahamic accords for peace in the Middle East. Sensing the progress towards peace, Hamas *(being the puppets of Iran and its desire to cut Israel off from the face of the earth)* struck with an attempted barbaric ethnic cleansing of the Jews on October 7 when babies were killed, women rap3d and killed/burned alive and young people at a music festival were gunned down in cold blood! Why is it that every everytime they celebrated their evil acts with the blood curdling chant: *"ALLAHU AKBAR!"?* Beloved Muslim, what is the meaning of this chant? I suppose you think Israel was just supposed to fold their arms and say thank you very much to Hamas, right? The loss of innocent Palestinian life is deeply regretted (considering that Hamas is embedded in the civilian population and launches rockets from neighborhoods, schools, hospitals and kindergartens) but Israel MUST DESTROY the Hamas terrorist infrastructure so that Hamas will never recover, rearm and restart its genocidal ethnic cleansing of Israel like it tried to do on October 7. Unless you have been living under a rock, Hamas do not care even if they get more of the land. They want all the land, the whole thing. Remember the slogan "From the river to the Sea, Palestine will be free"? Palestine, according to Muslims, will only be free if the Jews are eradicated from the river Jordan to the sea: genocide. Hamas or Islam has no real interest in peace with Israel. If you do, then either you are deceived, dishonest or you live in a fantasy! Hamas is motivated by their 7th century god, Allah's commitment to the death-wish of eradication of Jews.

I have never seen a person more optimistic than brother Sami. I have never seen a person who connects Quraan and seerah to modern world politics than brother Sami. In the middle of the podcast I fell in sajda crying, every ummati is a salahuddin, we just need to realise. I love the scenario of us coming to the company of Rasulullah and discussing our struggles and what we did. Will we be able to narrate our story or try to hide our faces? Will the angles call upon my soul as naf ul mutmainna or nafsul khabees. Ya Allah make me a vehicle of change....Ya Allah reward brother Sami and Jalaal for trying to awaken the soul of this Ummah.....Ameen ya rab al alameen

You are wrong in thinking we are just supporting the Palestinian people without knowing the wider issues. Enormous numbers of us have read very widely about this and about the history. We support Palestinians rights and believe Israel should be dismantled and Palestinian land returned to Palestinians and their control. Thank you brothers for this excellent podcast. I have been following The Thinking Muslim podcast for a while now and find it very enriching. The guests are top notch and the topics are very relevant. I also wholly support the ideas proposed by Sami Hamdi about doing everything we can to support the Palestinian cause, even if it is just a retweet. I watched the Blogging Theology episode where Muhammad Jalal discussed Muslim involvement in the next parliamentary elections in the UK and totally endorse what he presented. I have one small remark if you could allow me. When Sami spoke about his visit the US he expressed his awe about the magnificently large homes he was invited to by some Muslims in Texas. Although this is true, I found his awe misplaced in the context of what we are proposing in terms of uniting Muslims from all walks of life. I agree with Sami’s reading of the Seerah and what we can learn from it today. In this Seerah we learn how wealthy Muslims lived side by side with some of the poorest (Ahl As-Suffah) Muslims. The US has of the worst societal injustices and the Muslim community there is not spared from this. I suggest that, in parallel with trying to find ways to unite Muslims politically, we should be also striving to present Islam as the best way to achieving social justice.

The simple reason why Houthis are ready to bleed for Palestinians is because they have lived through similar hell as Gaza, for many years. So Houthis really know their pain. However, the rest of the Ummah who now speak for Palestinians, didn’t have the humanity to speak for the Yemenis. So who are a better people!
