A former meeting place for the Ku Klux Klan in Fort Worth is one step closer to becoming a new arts center named after a Black man who was lynched about a mile from the site a century ago.

💯 As a grown white man (38) who was adopted by a black couple (the 2nd white kid adopted by a Black family in Illinois history in 1984, you are right, I remember being naive to racism cause my beautiful late mom never saw color, I went to sleep over at a buddies house when I was 10ish and it just moved to kitchen tables, his dad was dropping the N word all dinner and his occupation...... The Sheriff of the town over from us..
