I recently came across a post from @freelyashley on TikTok-a self-professed former leftist like me-who started making videos after debates with her conservative husband made her change her mind. In today’s show, I’m reacting to her video, in which she absolutely nails why leftists are so angry.

@@AlissaSss23 But the thing is that they’re just virtue signaling and shouting continuous slogans they hear online. I think it’s also a narcissistic feeding frenzy as well. They also continuously pat each other on the back just bc they feel like the better person. Extremists on the right are like this. It’s the most terrifying thing to be under that umbrella. Going in the real world instead of remaining behind the keyboard is important. 🥹 A lot of them need to stop being raised by devices and told the truth. One time I was debating a woman about Lia Thomas and she told me I couldn’t speak on it because I wasn’t trans. She started ripping into conservatives saying we use our religion as a shield to be transphobic. So I told her you can’t speak on conservatives because you aren’t one. When I tell you I swear smoke came out of her ears…like she couldn’t believe I would use her words against her. They are walking hypocrites.

When you’re extreme on either side of the isle, you’re miserable. I’m a 20 year old gay ex-leftie. Being a leftist made me so insecure. I was in the victim mentality where my sexuality was constantly in the forefront of my mind, and I was always making assumptions that people were against me. I’m out of that thank goodness, now I realize that people genuinely don’t give a fuck. There’s really nothing for me to fight for, as I have everything I need in this country.

im glad you were able to separate from the left and be comfortable with who you are. the left truly takes obviously real problems but instead of working to actually create a solution, they just tell people they should be scared. they use fear to gain power and then blame people with opposing beliefs to divide the country because thats how they win. they tell people to be scared, usually blame the right even though most of the time its really not the rights fault at all, and then act like they are gonna be the savior to fix the problem when rfeally when they do get elected they sit on their ass and when they fuck up they blame others as if they werent the ones in office who have the power to fuck up as bad as they did. inflation is extremely bad right now, but biden is pretending its somehow trumps fault. he also said that the wall is keeping people who need help out. biden didnt care about the immigrtion crisis when it was affecting red states, but when florida and texas and arizona started flying the illegal immigrants to blue states, biden decides he wants to finish the wall. hes biast and doesnt care about red states. the president is supposed to do whats best for the whole country, but i guess dealing with a whole country might be difficult for a senile raisin who cant even seem to make it up the stairs unscathed.

@@quinn9420 No you’re all good, I think your rant may have been deleted. The left always preaches about loving yourself, and not caring what anybody thinks, but their actions say the exact opposite. I think of who I was as less of a mental battle, and more of an embarrassment. It’s that I got looped into something that made me feel like I had to always be on defense mode, had to always worry if somebody was going to hate me, that made me have so much unnecessary anger, and just be so damn ignorant. I remember working at my previous jobs when I was 15-18 and a leftist. I was always got quite nervous when I had to wait on conservative looking people, rugged looking men, teenage guys, people wearing crosses. I would always lower the pitch of my voice, walk and act more masculine. When people were assholes, I immediately jumped to conclusions in my head that they were homophobic, and started getting defensive. If you were to come into my work when I was younger wearing a MAGA hat, I probably would’ve given you a rotten look, or just straight up ignore you. If I were to see you outside of work, I would have given a snarky remark. That level of ignorance is encouraged on the left. I’ve had old friends run around stealing trump signs off of lawns, ride peoples asses or cut them off when driving if they had a sticker they didn’t like, yell at people who said something that is against their beliefs etc. The grass is much greener on the other side when you realize that ignorance does not solve anything. All of our ancestors went through hell for us to get to where we are today, only for all these people to bitch and whine about every little thing. The only way we can have some inner peace, is if we accept and appreciate where we are in this life. And the only way we are every going to get unity in this country, is if we see people eye to eye.

Ex feminazi here. Through a series of events in my young life I learned to hate and distrust all men. Then one day in my new college I saw a sign up for a Women's Studies class and thought wow, Susan B Anthony, etc etc, but the professor, also a woman, talked to me like I was a dumb 4-year-old. That's the fastest way to get on my bad side, but it ended up being part of the healing process because I got to see these people for who they really are--angry, condescending, bigoted. Later on I became a Christian and just celebrated 37 years with a wonderful man.

As a former liberal, I was always envious and angry at successful people. I assumed things just came to them easily. At some point, I realized that successful people worked harder than me, took more risks than I was willing to take, and faced their fears head on instead of hiding from them. Ever since i turned more conservative, I find I take more responsibility for my own actions and my life vastly improved. I believe that we do need to help those who are struggling, but telling them they are victims is the worst thing you can do. People need to learn to do things that are hard for them and develop resilience. It feels good to be strong!

@purplecitrine775 That's exactly right!!! Most kids, teens, young adults & even some grown ass adult these days truly believe that they are entitled to basically anything they want & need & they don't feel like they are responsible for making those things happen for themselves! Really it's just people in general these days & not just young people anymore! People feel like the world owes them something & that they are entitled to whatever they want & then have the nerve to get upset & angry about not getting it & throw a fit! I 110% blame mostly social media & lazy/terrible parenting these days & also the fact that these so called "parents" are allowing the internet to basically raise/parent their children & we all know how easily influenced a person can become especially when turning to then internet for all of their issues/problems such as self diagnosis for mental health! It really really messes with my mental health knowing my children will grow up in such a deranged, messed up, cruel, selfish world! I always found it pretty messed up to know that the owner & creators (CHINA) of the world's (Mostly USA) most influential & dangerous app (TikTok) that pulls in billions of dollars a year won't even allow their OWN people to access that app!! The app (TikTok) is not even accessable over in China/Japan/Korea & is banned because they know good & well the problems & dangers it brings therefore they don't even let their own people use it however, it's literally shoved down our throats here in America because they know just how much it can & will cause some very very serious problems for us, have extremely negative impacts & will overall cause our society to slowly but surely become numb to many things & simply just dumb down the people which btw it has already been successful in doing so & is still happening today! What's funny is, their (China) version of basically our TikTok is called something like "Duyon" (don't quote me on that) & it is ONLY content focused on things that are educational, inspirational, Loving, emotionally fulfilling, Happy & overall very positive things! You will find absolutely NO NEGATIVITY on that app WHATSOEVER! The Chinese are absolutely aware of just what they are doing & they are fully aware that the app (TikTok) was created for a purpose & they have overly succeeded in that purpose & have most definitely surpassed in getting into the household, personal lives & the mind of millions & millions of people young & old & was able to take control of each & every person by feeding them daily negativity, hate, anger, depression, sadness, anxiety, poor mental health, confusion & beyond... Basically anything negative that severely impacts the minds & lifestyles of anyone who uses the app & prevent them from anything that could possibly expand their mind, their education, promotion of positivity & good mental health, becoming wiser or really just anything that could possibly influence anyone from receiving facts, knowledge or thinking for themselves whatsoever! They want our society to be as dumbed down as possible & prevent the from knowing how to think for themselves & having to rely on TikTok for any & all answers to all of their problems & tbh they have been more than successful at doing just that! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ Funny, they keep push the ignorance onto the western society & ban their own country from even knowing what TikTok is & they keep the good stuff for themselves & won't even allow their own folks to use the same app they force upon us & make BILLIONS daily! That should really open folks eyes & tell them something knowing TikTok creators force us to use an app that they won't even allow their own kind to use simply because they know the extremely negative, extremely disturbing & terrible effects that it causes! Hell, folks are so ignorant & so incapable of thinking for themselves these days, they could be told & shown any & every horrible & negative things that TikTok causes & has caused/continues to cause & it could happen to them as well yet they are so brainwashed, dumbed down & gullible that they simply would care at all & it would most likely cause them to enjoy it even more! Sad sad sad world this is! Absolutely pathetic & so far gone it's not even funny anymore!

Overtime I began to see how horrible these people were, how they would seek out things to be offended by, twist peoples words, and if you didn’t agree with everything they did you were labeled a bigot. These people were so angry. They preached kindness, but were rude to people. They also LOVE their labels. They have no identity, no self worth, without their labels. It's not mere leftism, it's more like radical leftism. Usually it comes from a streak of independence met with failure. Radical leftists tend to fail at their goals and instead of either tempering their sights or developing themselves they often desire to change the policies that lead to their failure in the first place. This will often cause them to take an extreme stance in victimhood to the point where they will even "become a voice" for marginalized groups they personally don't care about. Radicalism and extremism are the main problems for both sides. The far left makes the left look bad and the far right make the right look bad. Both sides then lock in these radicals and paint them as the quota of the entire group. They said that as humans they are part of society and don't want to separate themselves from the majority of people. I thought it was a fair argument. As a former leftist, I think what made me so angry with the world was the idea that I had to feel guilt as a straight white male because of all the injustice going on. Being a member of the same group as the oppressors really frustrated me because I'd always tried to be a good person. I was constantly told that my opinions mattered less because of my status as an oppressor, and I was told that my needs should come secondary to those who have been historically oppressed. This made me feel like the oppression in the world was directly making my life worse, despite me having so many supposed privileges. And when I struggled I felt like I was failing more than people in other groups, because despite the deck being stacked for me to win I was struggling all the same. It really just made my life hell, and it took a lot for me to finally see the toxic ideology of the left, and the cult-like behavior.

Not only was Big brother watching, but people were policing each other. People were so opressed. They could not anything, unless the state said it was ok. The houses were monotone and dirty. There was nothing that was nice to look at. The cars looked all the same, with huge smoke coming out of the exhaust. We could not breathe. The stuff you saw in stores were dollar store quality. The close looked all the same. People were lining up around the corner for wanting to by bread. We all had been given money to buy something little, we did not bother spending it. When it was dark, it was very dark. No light in east Berlin. Yes socialism alright. I could go on but too much writing for me. When we came back home, I cried so hard and then went into a depression. I had the calculator out and I was figuring the dollar cost of an item...I looked up after a minute or two and there were several men who had come a bit close- looking interested in it. One fellow even asked if he could buy it. I wisely said no...particularly since 2 armed Polizei had also drawn close and were eyeing us with suspicion. I found out afterwards that had I engaged in conversation and even discussed letting the guy buy it off me, I'd have been detained.

When our daughters got swept up in liberal thinking, it was hard to show them the cognitive dissonance of we are "wrong" because we judge people (as conservatives) but they are "right" (as they sit there and judge us.) As they've grown and had children of their own, they've mostly swung back towards the middle. And I think that's another point, everything in moderation. If you lean too far, you're going to fall over. There are angry people on the far right, as well.

I grew up democrat; my mother was big time into politics and we knew the mayor, the governor, Gary Hart, I shook Hubert Humphrey's hand, etc. I became less interested in the party through the 80s and 90s but didn't quit the party until I saw they'd totally rigged the nomiination for Hillary, whom I thought was corrupt to start with but the "deplorables" comment was absolutely over-the-top; these were my neighbors and relatives. I had NO intention of voting for Hillary but hadn't decided for Trump, and I didn't exactly defend him but merely tried to point out to my "friends" that he wasn't a raving monster. The response was so raging and vitriolic I knew I could never support these people again; it was DEMOCRATS who had truly become monsters!

Trump is all about Trump. He's selfish and not that bright. The real problem is the Dominionists who want to turn this country into a theocracy. They're a threat to both liberals and conservatives and while we squabble with each other across the divide and make up ever more outlandish conspiracy theories about each other, they're destroying the very fabric of freedom in the US.

They can’t even figure out “what is a woman” cause of feelings. They believe there is 100+ genders again cause of feelings. When facts and true tell us there is 2 genders period.

Truth be told, the Chinese have had it the worst. Their nation has constantly gone through cycles of tyranny, civil war, and collapse for thousands of years. Hundreds of millions of people starved to death during Mao’s “Great Leap Forward”, the millions of babies that died due to the ‘one child’ policy, and now the Covid city-wide lockdowns… modern China is one of the most oppressive regimes around. The Chinese people have had it rough.

The first time I experienced this was when my chronic illnesses came to light and started me down the slippery slope toward becoming too disabled to work. I joined online communities related to my diagnoses and followed Instagram accounts of people like me. It was jarring the first time I had to wear a neck brace for a spinal instability and I expressed how it was uncomfortable… only to have someone else tell me that at least it wasn’t a full-body brace like she had to wear. I like to think that she was trying to help me appreciate my blessings, but it felt like a slap in the face. I harbored insecurities regarding whether or not my diagnoses were all in my head due to a history of not being believed by doctors or my coworkers (who were nurses!) for years and the fact that the nature of my (still not terribly well known) medical conditions is that symptoms and their manifestation/occurrence are very unpredictable. If I had any good day, or even good couple of hours, I would convince myself that it was all in my head or that I was overly dramatic since other people online had it so much worse than me. It has taken time and effort to change my mindset and I still have to struggle with it at times. No one really wins in a competition related to disability: if you “lose”, you feel bad for making a fuss when others have it worse; if you “win” you might get an initial satisfaction for proving yourself more disabled, but then there has to be the letdown when it hits how very disabled you are. Just another kind of Victim Olympics; there’s just way to win, no matter where you land on the Victim Hierarchy. Everyone ends up feeling bad about themselves.

I grew up in a heavily secular and progressive community. Both my parents were agnostic. My sisters are both atheists and heavily left-leaning. I was probably more left-leaning than the rest throughout my teens. I drew upside-down crosses, made anti-American political art, wrote edgy anti-establishment music, etc. But in my early twenties I met my wife and living with her, getting married, having children, and owning property has made me completely shift my views. I stopped whining, and started taking accountability for those for which I was responsible. I started looking inward, and analyzed my philosophy. I realized how vacuously empty it had left my life. I honestly couldn’t remember the last time I’d felt joy. I remembered that it must have been sometime in my childhood, pre-puberty, pre-political activism, etc. I became depressed, so I reached out to the only source I recalled as bringing me happiness: my childhood. In authors I’d abandoned in my youth, I found a common philosophy, a worldview that re-enchanted my life and the way I lived it. I’ve since become more conservative, and pushed back against both the paranoia of the reactionary conservatism of my father, and the blind allegiance to progress for progress’ sake of my sisters/mother. I nod back to an older form of conservatism, one of community, localism, tradition, faith, family, and land. My father and I, though we have since established a much stronger relationship than when we were younger, now argue about which is harming society more, collectivism or individualism (I argue the latter). My sisters all think I’m some neo-fascist Luddite who somehow got stuck in the Middle Ages, who wants to “control women’s bodies” and hates minorities (I don’t). It’s tough being conservative today, arguable more difficult than being progressive. The institutions are against you, culture threatens to silence you, your ideas rendered anathema to the current zeitgeist. But don’t let that stop you. You should be concerned about truth, above all else.

Would it be strange to hear I'm a progressive with a concealed carry permit? The problem with righties is that the message is more important than the facts. Progressives say they want gun reform closing of loopholes and conservatives claim they want to take all guns. Progressives say they want freedom of choice when terminating pregnancy and conservatives claim they want to kill the baby after it's born. It's such an anti-intellectual tactic that doesn't allow for conversation cause you are not even listening. But then again, red states rank last in education so anything intellectual shouldn't be expected. Right-Wing media outlets push expectations of masculinity that further harm men’s mental health. One example is the expectation of being fully self-sufficient right out of school. Failure to do so results in being portrayed as an emasculated male. Right wingers only have an issue with big corporations performatively and when they disagree with what it is doing. They don't give a fuck about big pharma, unless it comes to covid vaccines. They don't give a flying fuck about Disney's racism, sexism or performativity, unless they made Ariel black. Worst part is that they then use that to call anyone who specifically supports COVID vaccines or the black Ariel hypocrites because left-leaning people would normally be against big pharma and Disney. As if they were endorsing the corporations by defending one specific thing they did.

That’s interesting. The best thing you can do is read books about philosophy, history and politics and get a wider grounding in the many ideas that have shaped our world (though don’t let that get in the way of just enjoying being young!). I wonder if there’s a moment where those teenagers who lived relatively comfortable lives are suddenly hit with the realisation that they are no longer as important and that they will need to work, sometimes competitively, and that even this won’t guarantee their success. This is a genuinely difficult thing to deal with, but instead of being offered real support they’re being led on by those who believe that ‘reality’ is a con, a scam perpetrated by ‘power’ to horde all the good things for itself (as if they wouldn’t *also* do this if *they* were in power … ). As such, they’re never given the chance to come to terms with how things are and find happiness as part of a radically complex and often uncaring society.

Realizing that feminism was the cornerstone of the democrat party's ideology was the redpill moment to me that changed it all. Sargon of Akkad and Paul Joseph Watson helped me see that more than any other voices. Feminism and its offshoots, they are firstmost solipsism. For feminism, to all human males. For social justice, to white people, men (at least the ones who don't want to be turned into women). A denial of personhood, subhuman status. They are secondmost, hatred. Raw hatred. Of white men. Because that's their scapegoat for all their problems. Thirdly, they are greed, and entitlement. And fourth, they are narcissism. Virtue signaling, self-righteousness, whatever you want to call it. Those are the 4 pillars of progressive ideology.

The left is angry because the right is installing puppet politicians who only care about enforcing corporate interests and instituting a theocratic government no different from what we see in middle eastern third world countries. And the right ended free school lunches, so now I need to deal with a hangry kid all day. And the right drives up the national debt every time they're in power, and then complains about how high the debt is when they aren't in power. Then there's also the right wing politicians making laws about medicine and technology they have so little understanding of that they turn into meme fodder when they talk about it. And there's fox news, who we know from their text messages hates the right more than the left does.

Yeah I’ve had similar conversations with people leaning left and it’s crazy how my more conservative perspective is so fundamentally different. Similar to you where you hold yourself accountable, and critique where you could have improved while the other mindset is figuring out a way to shirk the faults and flaws and make yourself a victim at all costs, just so that you don’t have to acknowledge where you went wrong.

I grew up in a house with no electricity, and gravity fed running water. We had to chop wood by hand or freeze in the winter. I was the poorest person I knew, far poorer than the welfare kids. But my dad went to work everyday and wouldn't take handouts. He had health setbacks that kept him from getting ahead. When he was good, I learned that hard work did pay off. I put myself thru college, ignoring the cries from everyone that I couldn't afford it, I just figured it out on the fly (as I was a kid) and where there is a will there is a way. I had faith that it would work out, and it did. Now I'm solidly upper middle class, and the number of people that think I grew up as a wealthy white kid is insane. Everyone has a different story.

As someone who is an “ex-rightist” I hope you all see the exact same problem with the right. The right is constantly angry about abortion, trans rights and the view that drag queens are grooming, the perceived loss of rights of white men, “cancel culture,” the fear of losing gun rights, etc. Cognitive dissonance is on both sides, anger is on both sides, the feeling of injustice is on both sides. None of these things explain why you perceive the left as angrier than the right except that you agree with the views on the right, so you don’t see the problem.

You're not wrong, but your thinking is flawed. White Americans have been trained to see themselves as the villains of history. We're evil for sailing across the ocean. We're evil for expanding. We're evil for doing what every other people has done across history ever. And what's worse, is despite being the cultures that brought anti-slavery, environmentalism, the idea that we can improve instead of just take...? None of that matters because how much damage have your people done to get there, you plastic inventing freaks. Seriously, everyone attacks you if you're white, even fellow whites, just for being white. It's almost as if that's the human norm, attacking each other like animals because we're not perfect, when perfection or admitting improvement would just invite more people trying to hate.

As someone who was kind of like this as a teenager, I think there are many reasons why people are drawn into this anger and hatred. The first reason is to feel important. When you feel like you are struggling or a failure, joining a group of people who claim to fight for people's rights and the betterment of society seems like an obvious thing to do. You can feel better about yourself, and you don't feel like things are out of your control anymore. You are now a warrior for "good" and for "justice". It's probably also why there is so much emotion involved and why people are so passionate - because it gives their lives meaning and a purpose. Take it away and they are left with nothing (in their mind). The second reason is because the media tends to focus on the negative - whether social media, newspapers or TV news shows. Negativity gains more views, so they focus on that and breed fear and resentment, which makes people feel like they need to do something to regain control. By "fighting" against these issues, they feel like they now have more power to control their futures and the world around them. And lastly - because people want to be good. They want to help, they want to make the world better. We are bombarded with heroic tales in fiction, people who offer their lives for society (look at superhero movies and young adult fiction), and obviously people are going to want to get involved and fight as well. The only problem is that the world doesn't have evil villains that you can clearly see and fight against. We live in a world of blacks and whites and lots of grey. So it's a lot harder to be a "hero" in real life. There are probably more things I missed, but those are the things that made me agree with the left. Honestly, I don't know what the answer is. Blindly trusting everything isn't right, but distrusting and hating everything isn't wise either. We often struggle to find the balance on many things, and in this case, we need to learn how to be good people, how to improve the world and make a better impact, without destroying ourselves and everything we have built thus far in the process. It's a very fine line, but I guess it goes back to the basics: • compassion • empathy • understanding • kindness And not getting too caught up in the world around you. Focusing on positives rather than negatives. Changing what you can and accepting the things you can't change. Trying your best everyday to improve yourself, your knowledge and your emotional strength. And trying to find and be the good in the world that you want to see, without tearing other people down in the process.

@@antihero105 , hundreds of hours of surveillance camera footage from that day has shown the officiaI story to be a complete LlE. The media showed the public what they wanted them to see to push an anti-conservative agenda, and kept the rest of the footage hidden until recently. Capitol police were literally escorting people around, and unlocking doors for them to enter areas. It seems there were a lot of infiltrators from the Fßl and Ant!fa who were disguised as conservatives, who escalated the events of that day. The entirety of the footage paints an entirely different story than what the media portrayed. Tucker CarIson did a whole segment showing the actual footage. Where have you been? Under a rock? As a conservative myself, I can say we’re typically a segment of society who is the least likely to participate in any kind of vioIence, because it violates our core values. Many of us are Christians, and if you’re a Bible believing Christian, you’re especially against doing harm to others. I say Bible believing because there’s a difference between people who adhere to the principles of the gospel of peace according to the scriptures, and those who don’t even know what the scriptures say. Christians have been falsely accused of promoting harm against those who aren’t of our faith because of the ßloodshed caused by the CathoIic Church in the papal lnquisition, in which a great majority of the millions who were wiped out by the papal command were Bible believers who refused to convert to the pagan Catholic religion because it’s NOT in alignment with what the scriptures say. The Church of Rome has greatly besmirched the name of Jesus Christ because of its antichrist doctrine and vioIence against anyone who refused to bow to the unholy papacy. The scriptures actually say that if we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with someone who will not receive it, that we’re supposed to walk away from them and shake the dust from our shoes. We’re instructed to pray for them, but in no way does Jesus Christ ever want us to try to convert anyone to Him by force. Scripture makes it clear that we’re not even able to convert anyone to faith in Christ unless the Holy Spirit intervenes first, and Jesus says we have no control over where the Holy Spirit goes, John 3. That means the fact that the Church of Rome slaughtered people who refused to convert to CathoIicism, it shows the papacy was acting upon his own will and NOT the will of Jesus Christ. But, of course, the papacy does claim to be Jesus Christ on earth, the Vicar of Christ, so the Pope thinks he’s God on the earth, and that alone shows how dem0nic he is. CathoIicism is not called Christianity because it’s antithetical to true biblical Christianity. All the CathoIic Catechisms are opposed to what the scriptures say, because it’s not true biblical Christianity. We live in a time of great deception, so you would be wise not to believe everything you see on the news. In fact, the level of deception is exactly what Christ said it would be just before He returns. Technology advancements have made it so easy for the powers that be to present a false narrative as truth. It’s so easy to portray a Iie as truth when you control what the public sees, and you withhold everything that shows your false narrative is a Iie, like they did with the actual footage from the events of that particular day you referred to. They do it all the time. Just like with the George FIoyd crap, where they withheld the body cam footage of him saying he couldn’t ßreathe long before he was ever put on the ground. He was saying it from the moment the officers arrived, and I reckon he was having trouble ßreathing since he had overdosed on drugs that depress the central nervous system, thereby depressing his respiratory system, and he was in desperate need of Narcan to stop the overdose. But how many people actually know about that body cam footage that they suppressed, which showed the true story? I guarantee it’s not many, because most people are too lazy to actually seek out the truth. It’s more convenient to just believe the Iies.

It’s always easy to manipulate and control anger; it’s easy to direct anger because rational logical thought is thrown out the door. We have tons of historic examples of the ruling class using anger to further their motives. USSR “HATE THE KULAKS” Nazi Germany “BLAME THE JEWS!” Confederate America “YANKEES WANNA STEAL YOUR LAND” The Irish Troubles “THESE OTHER IRISH PEOPLE WANT TO DESTROY YOUR RELIGION!” So on and so on. History is littered with evil people galvanizing hatred and anger, even if that hatred and anger isn’t aligned exactly with theirs.
