About guest:
Lawrence "Larry" Mazza is a former soldier, hitman and protégé of Colombo crime family captain Greg Scarpa. Mazza has admitted to murdering four people, including the January 1992 murder of Nicky Grancio, using a 12-gauge shotgun which was allegedly stolen from a New Jersey police car. He had previously witnessed the December 1991 killing of Vincent Fusaro by Scarpa, who shot Fusaro in the neck, body and back of the head with an M52 rifle while he hung up a Christmas garland on the door of his home in Brooklyn. Mazza has allegedly participated in around 25 murders. Sometime in the mid-1990s after his arrest by the FBI, he agreed to cooperate. Mazza has since relocated to Florida and became a fitness personal trainer. He released a book titled "The Life: A True Story about a Brooklyn Boy Seduced into the Dark World of the Mafia."

Patrick... Can you, please, let the guest speak? Yes, redirect the course of conversation if needed, but when the guest is on a roll, let him/her keep rolling. The guest in this case, Larry Mazza, has done many interviews. He knows where he's going. Allow the guest to finish his/her train of thought, and only then retract if you need to fill-in the details. Thank you.

Pretty sure had Larry not met Linda he’d have lived a life on a straight crime free path, it’s crossing paths with Greg Scarpa Sr. That changed his entire life’s trajectory. That said it’s nice to see that after it all came crashing down he was given a 2nd chance to live that normal life he was basically cheated out of. Kudos and good luck for the rest of your journey Larry.
@AlexHernandez-gn6rd
@AlexHernandez-gn6rd 2 жыл бұрын
He wasn’t cheated. He met a girl and did whatever he thought he had to do to keep seeing that girl. He made a choice. Whether he was too young or too naive to understand what choice he was actually making is irrelevant. You have a choice in life. You always do. He chose to chase the girl. Well….. decisions huh. Critical.

Where are the directors and producers out there writing this stuff down for scripts? It’s gold. Just imagine a series involving Greg scarpa, the second and third Colombo war. Just imagine a series about the Philadelphia family. I seriously believe if they nailed one about one of the two, then it would blow any series in the last decade out the water. I think the incidence of older women seducing young men/teenage boys is much higher than most suspect. It happened twice to me in my teens. I never told anyone. Why? Because I thought I had hit the lottery. It always amuses me when I see reports of female teachers being caught with underage boys and everyone wonders why the kid didn't say anything. What gets him caught is he runs his mouth to his friends and they get jealous and go tell their parents/teachers, etc.
