It breaks my heart that he doesn’t have someone to advocate for him on a news program that is less confused. Or more focused and able to get the facts out. His poor mom has been through so much and shouldn’t be put in this position.

My heart so goes out to Troy's mom. I have a family member with his condition and he also self medicates due to the overwhelming mental anguish. Prescription meds in many cases do very little for some of the distressing symptoms. People with this disease did not choose to get sick. If my family member went missing, knowing he has this disease, I would have especially been out immediately searching for him because I would know he is at risk. Yet his wife didn't even share on Facebook his missing fliers. No matter if she was mad because he was using, you wouldn't react that way. I would be suspicious of that behavior even if she did cooperate because it sounds like there was no real initial investigation. If reading this, Nancy please know other moms are hoping your beautiful son is found. I live in Southern California and had not heard of his case. I will be sharing this News Nation story on my social media. ❤

Troy's mom seems a bit unfocused. I guess that's normal, given that her son has been missing so long. An interview with Troy's wife might be more conducive to the investigation. I hope he is found!

Troy’s mother is doing the best she can under her circumstances. I hope she gets real answers and Troy is found. His wife wouldn’t post on her FB to look out for her missing husband. Wow! Drugs are a thief and a killer.

My guess: Troy may be in active addiction and has migrated to a source. Seattle Portland Los Angeles Prayers for Troy and his Family. Mark Laita of Soft White Underbelly has a studio on Skid Row in LA. He has contact with a multitude of persons who live and/or on Skid Row. It’s not pretty, but thinking like an addict, he may have went south for supply, camaraderie, and sun.

It seems like his mother is in denial when they asked her if he was using drugs the night he went missing she seems to deny it the reason he left the house was because his wife caught shooting up 🤷

She did not say he was not using, she just said she could not say for sure since she was not there. His wife was not actively looking for him immediately affer he was missing, nor has she kept in touch with his family for the grandkids' sake, so I would understand her simply saying she was not there to verify. Even if he was using, he still is missing. Where is he? If deceased, where is his body? Just because he was using that night does that mean he should not be looked for or should his mom just write him off???
