Hey someone with bipolar here. Just a quick note, most research shows (and it did for me too) is that bipolar usually presents or first major episode (manic or depressive) is usually early to mid twenties. Getting diagnosed and treatment is huge once you do it's almost like you don't have it. That's another thing this doctor does not mention is that during a manic episode there is an increased chance of hurting others. During a depressive episode there is an increase chance of hurting one self. So if you think you need help, or someone you know may need to be looked at please do it can save lives. All the best.

I hope Delonte can keep on the up and up. He was a lot of fun to watch as a player and it sucks to see someone go thru such hard times. We are lucky in this day and age with all the information on mental health and addiction we have, people can def get help in a better way than in the past imho.

The reality is drug addiction . That’s the biggest factor here not bi polar. Seek help and loved ones don’t let a doctor prescribe you any magic pill that they profit off of.

I really feel for delonte. Being a biracial man. I know it isn't easy living in this world without self detructing. It will get better with age. At the same time, just because he was a famous ball player doesn't make him any more special then the average person. Treat everybody like you do these celebrities. We all struggle.

Now it’s hard being biracial? Lol Cut it out

@@Bo55world Cut the shit! Black people been made to feel we’re ugly bc of our complexion or grade of hair. Being lightskin/mixed has always been taught as the preference in the black community. When ur seen as a threat solely bc ur skin isn’t “lighter” come talk to me. lol Delonte probably got help bc he’s biracial while lamar odom was the butt of everybody’s jokes! I haven’t heard something this dumb in a min lmao
