Was very happy when Ravens picked up Owehs 5th year option. After Ravens drafting, developing and molding Judon and Smith, only to have them walk and both turn into pro bowlers year 5. Definitely felt like Ravens weren't going to let that happen this time around.
@scottdorfler255123 сағат бұрын
Owey ran a 4.39. I love that the Ravens roll the dice on genetic freaks with little experience. Faalele is another great example of the Ravens dropping a later round pick on a guy with huge upside. Moving him to guard was genius. We can't let him walk either. He gets better every week. The guy is 380 pounds, runs a 5 even. Biggest guy I've ever seen on a football field. safeties don't fall off fast at all. many play well into their 30s, and a lot of CBs transition to safety after they get too old to keep up with fast receivers. also i'm not sold Marcus is falling off as much as he's just a bad fit for the scheme. he's too young and talented as a safety to get bad that fast. wouldn't be surprised to see him do well on another team, even though he's clearly not good for us.

Smith's critique is fair because he is a player and despite all the critique he took it and battled and came up big in the SB. But, Bobby Buffalo is a different story; have you ever really, really played a full contact sport? What about in the streets; can u duke? I am betting DACOSTA and his overrated ego could take Bobby Buffalo? Obviously, the Soprano has got your number despite: strength coach debacle, the player reviews of the Ravens organizationally.... And most clearly, his inability to hire scouts that could find WR talent, and pass rushers through the draft for almost 10 years... And this silly O Line that looked a mess against Philly. What are they gonna look like against Detroit, KC or Philly again?... Too many fat boys and two few Linderbaums.... An offense in the trenches with most finesse players, no dogs unless you use Ricard and Andrews... I have a hard time listening to a guy who people call Bobby Buffalo critique guys who risk CTE for their whole career when you go out of your way to do it. One day, someone is going to confront you who is not scared to get in your face. Talk about the guys on the field... Leave these dudes alone...

On national media, the narrative is Patrick Mahomes is the GOAT and every QB is chasing him. The Chiefs won 3 recent Super Bowls as a team. Go check the stats last year and you will see Mahomes threw 27 TD with 14 Ints and lost 3 of his 5 fumbles, and the team still won a superbowl. My point is Lamar far outplayed Mahomes individually last year, and minus a rookies celebration that changed a 1-10 to 1-25, then a fumble short of the end zone (from a Lamar pass). The Ravens had a chance to beat the CHIEFS. Let’s stop with the national narratives that Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen or even Joe Borrow are much better QB’s than one Lamar Jackson. The Super Bowl is won by team efforts, and the Chiefs have been the best or luckiest at that recently.
