Brilliant interview. Couldn't agree more with all of your collective thoughts. I've been a top tax bracket earner for the last 3 years working in Tech sales (I pay the top tier of tax 45% as I earn between £160-190k) I couldn't take it any longer so I've just sold my house (in Jan) & left my job. Invested my savings in stocks, riskier assets like crypto and i've bought a campervan to go travel and find a country that will offer me citizenship (based on property investment) & recipriocate what I offer. I'm setting off in 1 month, so wish me luck! Please keep it up Rob, your content resonates with so many of us here in the UK

I've left the UK. There are not many places to go but I've had a lucky break. I bought a property overseas in 2017. I could see that the UK was in terminal decline but didn't think it would go to crap so quickly. Me owning this property means I could get residential status which I have obtained. The UK is now a basket case. I will rent my properties in the UK and use the surplus over my tax obligations to live a modest life in a place not poisoned by woke/communist ideology. I weep at what the UK as become.

@@paulaw9764 when was the last protest ? Think of the French for example, their government know they can’t mess around with the people as they will take to the streets and set fire to things and show who’s in power. The old way of protesting does nothing. Just being aware and spreading awareness of who’s in control and what’s going on is the best way of protesting, that’s why they cancel influential figures who expose the agenda.

Tax does effect us on the lower levels, I could do allot more overtime than I am doing now but its not worth it because you will be popped in the higher tax bracket and end up working essentially for free for those extra hours. Just one reason why Britain has such an inefficient economy. Another problem with Britain is the majority of our elites that go onto run the country in different civil services have outright animus towards the country and people they serve, it is basically a new aristocracy being pumped out of certain universities. The few elites that are patriotic and have the skills and knowledge to effect change in the country would rather jump ship and leave instead of getting politically involved and changing the country for the better. Ant is obviously a natural and effective leader but he himself seems hopeless about the situation. The country is silently begging for reform and a new kind of leadership. Change is not impossible in the UK the people preventing it are not the NKVD they are pusillanimous university kids at heart who have never faced real opposition in their life.

I look at my wage slip every month and my heart sinks when I see the tax and national insurance I pay and what I get for that. Pretty much zero. I could get top notch private health cover with the same amount I pay each month in national insurance contributions. Don't get me wrong I'm quite happy to pay for people who need life saving treatment from the NHS but 75% of them have either created the illness themselves ie smoking, over eating, drinking and drug abuse, or are health tourists. I am working from January to May for free basically. I'm emigrating soon out of this shit hole. I'm amazed more wealthy people haven't left the UK.

Nice guy, I assumed he was going to blame immigration but he didn't. The fact is, we need immigrants to work low paid jobs so their tax will pay for the pensions of our rapidly aging population - every town is full of old people, right? the biggest segment of government spending is state pensions - only about a third of the UK population work full time - if you think about it, that 20 million have to support the remaining 50 million (pensioners, children, unemployed, disabled etc) The second biggest cost is the NHS followed by Education, followed by Defence. No wonder the majority of our hard earned money is taken away from us.

The import of cheap labour lowers the wages of indigenous workers, if you can't see that.... If they couldn't use cheap imported labour they would have to pay British people higher wages and the economy would be much greater. We are being taxed into oblivion, while they ship our money out of the country, to be repaid at a later date through public speaking engagements and suddly becoming an art genious, getting millions for a few splodges of paint on a cavas. @TBT He wasn't moaning about government control when he was trying to join the paras and the marines ?? All he could do to keep himself out of prison . Then his experiences made him a millionaire and now he is complaining about it ?? I'm guessing he got his own way a lot in the special forces ?? LOL

@@terryloker2585 Most of these rich people spend the money faster than they can earn it, just keeping that big house, fancy car, the lifestyle up. I've never earned more than 16k a year, my wife earned a little more, thankfully we managed to get a mortgage, stayed in that house for 16 years, moved 100 miles away to a slightly bigger place and become mortgage free. We don't go on expensive holidays, have fancy vehicles etc, we don't even have crappy jobs now but we have some freedom and peace. I do wonder what the future holds for us though, I'm too far away from pension age, I'll need to find some sort of income when my money does run out, assuming that WW3 or this Great Reset doesn't happen beforehand.

I disagree on why he believes he should benefit out of the system, you’re wealth is your benefit you can afford things others can’t, yes you worked very hard for it and completely deserve sponsorship deals and so forth and I wish you all the success. There is millions of people that work really hard and not wealthy and don’t benefit out of the system it has to be fair in that way for everyone so not to just benefit people that earn millions a year.
