Former Secret Service questions Trump’s assassination attempt security failure

The Secret Service is trained in “every scenario and surface possible” says Former Secret Service Special Operations Officer Marshall Mirarchi.
Mr Mirarchi has questioned US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle’s excuse for a sloped roof making them unable to secure Trump’s shooter’s roof.
“I don’t know what was behind that or where that came from,” he said.

At this level, you use your country best. You use battle harden professionals. There was a time that you couldn't become a secret service if you were not in the elite.units before. Now, diversity hire changed that it seems. There are certainly women who can do it and do it well. Women who are trained, tall, athletic, and even extremely good with weapon systems. This soccer moms were not it definitely. Have you seen the video when they arrived at the hospital? Once more lost in the space and acting like they have carried side arm fir two days maximum. There was an information that even some of them were not actual secret service at all. If I were Trump, I would hire private company and hire real professionals to keep me alive.

They need to explain who was on the water tower taking shots, they need to explain why one of the agents pointed their rifle at Trump just after he got in the car the guy had a radio call, moved towards the car and brought his rifle up with trump in front of hi position. The knew he was there and what he was there for. I think they used him as a cover. This is without I think it is the FBI assistant director sat in the crowd looking at the shooter and when shots are fired all looked and she did not, she just got her phone out and started recording like she knew and her response seems to show this.

Unlike police officers, sloppy service agents have no real world experience. They train in theory for years, without ever going hands on, in reality. They are not seasoned veterans, whom know how to deal with tense, active combat situations. Requirements should include, having a minimum of 5 years active police service, prior to applying to the sloppy service. Case in point, it was the local police who first reported the suspicious person, on the grounds with a range finder. THE SLOPPY SERVICE, DROPPED THE BALL.🤬👎🏻

There are calls for the Director of the Secret Service to resign. She has said she has no intention to resign. When JFK was assassinated I was in high school. I became curious to look up who was the director when the president was actually assassinated. After all, the CIA Director Kennedy fired in his first year ran the Warren commission investigation to determine the definitive truth to the America people what happened. James Rowley was appointed Secret Service Director in 1961. He didn't resign. He stayed on the job after Kennedy was murdered. Through Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, and didn't resign until 1981. After Reagan was shot by a family friend's son of then vice president Bush. The FBI Director J.Edgar was in office even longer. Thirty eight years appointed in 1934. He was the FBI Director when Kennedy was murdered and during the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy. He ran the investigations and solved the murders were all lone gunmen.

The roof the shooter was on looked to be about a 2/12 roof (9.46 degrees), maybe a 3/12 (14.04 degrees) at most. Those are extremely shallow pitch/slope roofs. Even if the roof is a 4/12 (18.43 degrees) or 5/12 (22.63 degrees) it would not be a pitch/slope that would be close to being at all dangerous. The "sloped roof" reason is just a poor, exceedingly weak excuse. Without being about to go to the building and the building the counter-sniper was on and only able to go by what can be seen in video and still images I'd bet the roof the counter-sniper was on has a steeper pitch/slope, but men were positioned on it. How can that be explained, or excused, away?

Every other former SS member I have seen comment is angry as hell and calling for accountability and people needing to go to restore the integrity of the agency. This guy, to me, sounds like he is making excuses for the agency rather than calling for accountability. I am sure he is a great individual and was an excellent SS agent, but his conciliatory tone disappoints me. Those currently in charge of the SS need to resign or be fired and the ridiculous lowering of standards in order to meet DEI quotas needs to end. Period. Peoples lives are on the line.

They allowed this guy to fly a drone over the rally TWO TIMES. They can say we are pushing conspiracy theories all you want but there is something seriously fishy about this. Secret service loses a potential threat, they allow someone to fly a drone over the site multiple times, they didnt find a hidden weapon, they didn't man the roof, they didn't think having a range finder was enough to stop him, they had him in their sights with a weapon pointed at a US president yet didn't shoot until he shot multiple times, they seemingly ignored people yelling that someone has a gun, on top of all of this they knew there was a threat and allowed the president to go on stage. One slip up ok maybe it was a mistake, we dont even have all of the information and there are already numerous red flags. Oh, forgot to mention they had only 22 secret service members for thousands of people at a rally. Im not pushing any conspiracy theory, im saying that something doesnt add up here. The director should be fired if a president gets spit on. She allowed a BULLET to touch a president, and we are supposed to have faith in her? I don't think so.
