Stop deflecting responsibility onto the victim. I'm sorry your son had a rough childhood. But once he became the abuser and then a murderer, he came into full ownership of his heinous actions. Ali CLEARLY has narcissistic personality disorder. Guess who is ALWAYS to blame for that? The parents(s). Sometimes both are directly responsible, but at least one while the other enables it. When the narc is violent, that implies that their parent was that way towards them. He learned this behavior. As opposed to the narc just being whiney, those ones tend to be that way because they were never told “no” as a kid. His mother has NO credibility.

He is clearly guilty and sane, and I hope he gets prosecuted to the full extent of the law. However, individuals can experience the same exact same traumas very differently. My rough childhood, doesn't equate to yours, or even my own brother's for that matter, even though we were abused by the very same abusive parents. That said, whatever your origin story, once you become the abuser, you own responsibility for your actions - not your parents, not society, not a video game, and certainly not your victim.

Mom- permissive parent (spoils the child) Dad- authoritarian parent (ab*ses the child) Child- WILL grow up to be extremely messed up (mental illness, ADHD, addiction issues, and possibly a personality disorder). My parents were this way too and I have all of these issues too ( borderline personality) while my sister inherited my dads narcissism (like Ali did). His mother has no clue that her behavior enabled this. Sending him kisses? I get that she’s trying to support him but guess what lady? It’s ENABLING, not supportive. It’s a FACT that he k!lled 2 people and she knows this and sends HIM kisses for the world to see? That’s why the parenting style is called “permissive”. She let him do anything he wanted and covered for him when he made mistakes, meanwhile dad ruled with an iron fist. Regardless, he’s an adult now and it’s time to seek help and not go around K!LLING ppl just because your ego got bruised.
