After 1948 the Palestinians were free to establish a free palestinian state as they were under Egyptian and Jordanian rule, but instead they created the PLO the Palestinian Liberation Organization. Another thing, 3 years before the 6 day war before Israel occupied West Bank and the Gaza strip and before a single settlement they were already calling for the destruction Of Israel When arabs say free Palestine they don't mean an independent state next Israel, what they want as a replace Israel. From 1947 to 2008 the Palestinians kept rejecting offers. I have talked to people who were in Palestine amongst other places helping out but it's seems they have succumbed to their roll as victims. I mean during the partition, the Jews got swamp and desert lands, but they invented new desalination techniques and and agriculture. Some say Palestinians get less land but good land but they got Jordan as well, that land is polluted. As I said, Palestinians get money from the UN, but tens of millions from the US from the EU from other countries. Where does it go? Obviously not into infrastructure, nor education. Since the 1980s they built hundreds of miles of tunnels bought weapons of every sort. Those tunnels are lined with concrete, storage power ventilation all the way to the sea.
