Condolences. My father held Dan in high regard, so I have always felt a deep respect for him as a man and as our governor.

I met him as a 7-year-old in Wenatchee Washington in the 60's and my mom and I got his autograph.

Exactly he started Evergreen and he was the president of the Univ also

He was an Eisenhower Republican. I was a kid. I do not recall any of the vitriol of today's Republicans.
