It's a really fun game to run! There's also a Single Level section in the discord, might be fun to start by running individual levels. You can also use WASD, might be tougher but I know some runners prefer it.

If you have an item in hand and put it away while jumping, there will be a brief window where you can jump again. You have to do it while ascending; it won't work once you start going back down. You can also use the Map menu to take out an item, and you'll get a similar chance to jump again. But it's easier to use the quick inventory button to put an item away.

Being a big fan of this game as a kid, I discovered a trick on level 10. You can jump with the sheep to get to the goal and skip the boss. The jump is very rng though (works on PS, but on PC uncertain).

You can make it across, but the goal won't activate unless you've actually beaten Gossamer. The only real goal is in the final room, the earlier ones aren't functional.

@@ItsNumber84 I can assure you that it works on playstation, as I realized a few years ago. So it's on PC that it doesn't work.

We've tested it thoroughly on both platforms, and it doesn't work. The boss fight uses a separate room for each phase, and only the final room has the actual goal. Which PS1 version are you saying it works on? PAL? NTSC?

On PAL I had the game in French. But I don't remember being able to make the jump on PC, but I'm convinced that by making the jump I'd succeeded and been able to move on to the next level without having to face Gossamer.

I just tested it on both PS1 NTSC and PAL, and it doesn't work. You can reach the goal, but the goal isn't active until you defeat Gossamer.

What a nice speed run honestly I would do the same myself but for the most part I mostly have trouble with the last 3 levels before going to the space level also level 7 and level 9 r my favorite levels as a kid even now and also that whole song in level 5 and 6 is a banger cool level too jaja then again I’m a sucker for snow levels in video games and their music in all video games that I have played

You could always try some individual level speedruns, it's fun to just pick a level and try to beat it as fast as possible.
