@@YellowHat07 Sweet, thanks! With enough optimizations, a sub 1:16 time is definitely possible. I just did a practice run earlier today (no timer) where I used Lucas' car instead of Emily's, and while following him's a pain, I find the Modicum better than the Ascent overall, especially in Darren and Anika's races. I also found the PDQ to be better for most of the NY races, but the Jones is still better for Kareem's championship race due to the long straights throughout the race.

I love the vehicle selector chirp noise. It bleeds nostalgia when I found out that my Teslas’s lock sound can be that exact double chirp that we hear around the 9:38 mark, I flipped.

Playing on a crt ? How does this look so good? Im using good quality component cables paired with a retrotink 5x pro on a small 1080p tv and my copy of this game doesn't look this clear

Here are some suggestions to try out homie for a faster time than the 1:19 on the speedrun website 👌 1. Play on a ps3. Not the backwards compatible model, but you can buy the game on the ps3 store and play it. Reason being for some reason the load times are much faster. It can't be "just emulation," cuz if you run pcsx2, the load times are similar to the ps2. 2. Use kiko's car! I know you said you like the truck for the top speed, but I was able to finish all of New York roughly 3 minutes faster than the WR. 3. E-braking is king, especially in New York. Braking normally will be more beneficial with Emily's 3rd car, but for the taxi and kiko's car, it's a must. You can have insane lap times using it plus having an extra N2O with kiko will help with your lap times. Top speed is nice and all, but you only really need a high top speed with Kareem in NY and even then it's isn't needed. 4. Lastly, when making a new story, name the save file the same as the main file. As in, you name the OG story as the letter "A." When you hit New Story and type the name as that story as "A," it's gonna ask if you want to overwrite the original story name. Click yes and if you do that, the autosave is disabled for the rest of the run. Try these out! I was able to get a time of 1:17 even with me restarting the world champ and my ps4 controller disconnecting constantly from my ps3.

In real life and Forza Horizon 5 I maxed out the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria to 620 horsepower estimate with the Twin Turbos and AWD conversion. I chose the 4-Speed transmission speeding this Taxi Cabbie like car greater than 190 mph.

Awesome speedrun! I have a couple of questions. Why go with the truck instead of kiko's? And can't you save some good time if you don't use a memory card??

This is an old run. I beat this by like 5 mins but never got around to uploading it. I go with the truck since it has a much higher top speed, which you need for Kareem, plus it's better for keeping up with the London cars, as I use it until I get Emily's best car. In the newer run I didn't upload yet, I dont use a memory card to save time.
