Lucas and Mateo Villalobos Barrera were separated at TCH last August and they recently went home to Las Vegas. “We have our boys here, and that is God’s gift."

I can't understand WHY this is happening SO OFTEN lately. In the past, conjoined twins didn't survive past birth, or happened so rarely that most people never saw one. But, lately, it's happening often. I wonder if we're congesting something that's affecting the fetal development process.

In the past was not that many sources of information, so people were not informed of a lot of cases like this.

@@Yevgeshik If you look at the past, like WHAT PERCENTAGE of babies were born conjoined 75-100 years ago. It's SHOCKINGLY LOWER than nowadays! SOMETHING is going on! There were SO FEW 100 years ago, that they traveled around the country in Circus shows. (Could be the existence of birth control pills that didn't exist in the past; when women stop taking them to get pregnant, it doesn't permit complete fetal development in a multiple birth)

@@BORN-to-Run Yes, this could be reasons for that, also alcohol, drugs, may be big difference in age between mother and father. 100 years ago (1924), news sources were limited (no TV, Radio, Internet), not enough information about what is going on around the world, not everybody could even read newspapers and magazines.
