Forming House Footings Solo

Hanging out with my Son, bending #5 bar on a Friday. The days are never easy but well worth it once you are looking at a finished product! I am aware there are easier ways to get things done in construction but I'm working with what I got. There is always the right tool, is there ever the right man? Thanks for watching -

Great stuff. I'm trying to do a small ICF in West Texas. Hope to have some of those "stoked" moments myself.🤟 Thanks for taking the time to show how your stepdown (waterfall) forms went in and the detail on bending the rebar in one continuous piece. I never thought of turning the bender on its side. Brilliant! Pumpin' that Grade 60 iron! Who needs a gym membership?!?! 5 MORE!

Hard to make quick progress when the job site is 400 miles away. Seeing what you can do both with your crew and the last video I watched where you were working alone (but had your son with you!!!) was very inspiring. Thanks for the cool comment. He will be helping as soon as he can but I want him to enjoy being on site with me rather than seeing it as a chore! We all know how that goes :)
