Regarding the lag, you should change the mode to "Game mode" by pressing the 3 line button on the controller while in the HDMI source screen (in game for instance)

@@plawsworth I have this projector now and the lag is much better then it was on his tv. It looked like he had at least 70-100ms of lag. When I have game mode on and keystone off I get something like 35ms, it feels like that for me. I don't understand how they advertise this having only 12ms?. anyway even at 35ms it's still totally playable.

Hello, Congratulations for your work and your channel. I’ve received my S5 end of last week, and in fact my unit must not me working properly. The focus is not good (ok in the center, but not in the borders), text never seems to be clear, and pixels are so visible that it even looks like it’s not a 1080P projector. I’m trying to speak to NothingProjector, but they’re feedback and info is almost inexistente. I look at your review and to what I see in my projector, and it seems to completely diferente devices. Really worried about how this will end…

I hope mini laser tvs/Ultra short throws will become a thing. Would be so much easier to carry around, set up in a pinch and becomes your massive screen you can take with you whenever you're travelling. I recon mini UST/Laser tvs will be really common because how convenient and mobile they are compared to big hulking delicate tvs.

I have the S5 and I am very happy. The only problem I have is I wish it had better contrast. I have it with a white screen (Venor 100" PVC Screen). So , do you believe on an grey metal anti light screen have better results? Like contrast and colors ? If yes i'll buy one , i already have the metal frame from my White screen.

Only in daylight. If you're in a pitch black room, a different screen won't help I'm afraid

The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

Another youtuber said there's a game mode. It's 12ms for games. It's under Settings >> Picture Mode >> Game. He said if you change to game mode, you will need to increase the brightness and contrast.

I used to order from some UK shops online but it makes no sense anymore - I think clothing is one of the only products not affected by Brexit (or they have done some magic to keep the supply flowing in this direction without it affecting prices). for EU buyers I can vouch for the EU warehouse - I ordered over the weekend, it shipped via UPS to Germany on Monday, and it was out for delivery on Wednesday. No customs/VAT issues. It shipped from Poland.

I discovered that too, and I don't understand it either. I have found other settings in multiple locations though, so maybe it IS the same thing, just labeled inconsistently? I'm not crazy about the UX on the machine, but I am still getting to know it, and have never had a projector before in the first place so I'm a complete noob with respect to refining all these settings.

I have LDAP, aptx-HD and aptx-LL, works great with my laptop and phone but this would be my first projector, so I'm totally out of my depth.

@@SaabUnleashed I am not disappointed :) I am also happy to report that with my system, bluetooth to my stereo has barely perceivable delay which has been acceptable so far. I find the built in speaker good for the size, but I definitely want to use my stereo for movies to get some semblance of a sound stage and more volume. I will probably connect my disc player directly to the stereo in the end, but I'm relieved the wireless solution is working well enough, for now. now I just need a good portable screen. I think I will go for 1.0 gain for lack of more spiffy options, but if you have any tips in this direction please share!

Great video! Have you got a chance to compare it to the new Mogo 2 Pro? I mean image quality (brightness and sharpness). It also has 3D capability, which I would use. But I am really in doubt, because I value IQ the most. Cheers from Rio!

This Device on its own does not support Netflix. We need an external Device like a fire stick or apple TV etc to access Netflix. I wish that wasn't the case....because the portability aspect gets that much more inconvenient. Also auto keystone isn't that great. We need to do some manual adjustments every time and that's a pain

It's not the best...not even close. My review here after a week of issues; Formovie knows how to market their product to sound great....but the reality is not as good. Postivies: portable. Can run for a wholesome connected by USB c powrrbank Good colours when dark.can still watch during the day but washed out ( normal) Good speakers Not loud when operating Negative Most of the system in Chinese. Need to buy a Firestick to stream anything g in English so add $80-120 to price. Small grid pattern constant on screen. Formovie told me that's normal but it isn't. Really annoying especially on lighter colours. Keystone hit and miss Defo not 1000 lumens! Is OK if you don't expect too much but I've had $200 projectors that were almost as good so price hike not worth it for the news.
