Yes, Formula 1 has become "soft", the cars nowadays are way too quiet, bloated and heavy not to mention they look like dogshit compared to what we had 20 to 30 years ago, the drivers are pr-robots with no personality and can't say or do anything because F1 and FIA are helicopter parenting everything. The only thing F1 today has in common with what I watched 30 years ago is the fact it's still called Formula 1. Then again if you look at the care bears society we live in today the state of Formula 1 is just a part of it and this is simply a symptom of we actually giving in to people demanding safe spaces and censoring people saying and doing things they don't like. Anyway I'm going to yell at a cloud now, I may or may not be "old" now.

Couldn’t agree more honestly they already have an eco-series with formula. They need to bring back the bigger motors and they need to bring back what made Formula One Formula One those cars used to sound unbelievable now they don’t sound the way they want dead and I really feel bad for some of the new fans that weren’t around watching in the era when it was flat out foot to the floor motorsport hopefully some of them will go back and watch those older racesand get a better understanding because this sport has been on downhill trajectory and I’ve noticed it’s gotten even more downhill since the drive to survive days began

I got to experience IMSA in person this weekend and it was my first time experiencing an IMSA, race and watching the Singapore GP just before seeing a six hour trial of grit and determination through rain and crashes, and burning rubber. So many cars in first, so many overtakes, so many thrilling moments, cars so loud it sounded like explosions every downshift. It made me a little, underwhelmed and disappointed by the singapore GP. I mean yah my guy won but for the most part there’s barely any position changes, it’s so quiet, and there’s just not enough cars. Seeing 56 cars race head to head two miles for six hours and then… 20 cars for 62 laps Norris with a 20 second lead. 😢 I am starting to realize F1 is really entry level race viewing right now and its, dare I say, lacking the thrill and suspense. I mean even Grosjean is in IMSA right now and he pulled a blinder of a stint in the rain with the brand new SC-63!

Max should learn to say "dash blast the gosh darned blanket heck" like I learned from a Mad magazine about 50 years ago. That would make a complete joke out of it. Back in the V10 days, a 2 second gap was as small as a 0.2 second gap is today. Now with DRS and these lame-sounding cars and the rules against actual racing, a 2 second gap is MILES away for many cars. Get rid of DRS please (I guess in 2026 it is going away, but now with active aero which was banned YEARS ago but now it's OK...). BTW, I subbed because of this video so keep on keepin' on, bruh.

Yep i agree F1 has become soft of course sometimes i get excited when there's a banger of a race i miss when you could be aggressive i miss when there's a lot of crashes per race i mean crashes that don't herrt anyone the tracks are just bland nowadays i still love F1 il always will but i miss the small cars the V8 V10 engines were there's overtakes every second and the verstappen press confirance was the biggest clownshow ive ever seen from the FIA it's just sad im glad the new cars are gonna smaller hopefully that improves it

Blud, if kids will learn bad words, then why are they watching the normal F1 instead of F1 Kids? It's surely the parent's responsibility to make their kids watch F1 kids instead of the normal one. And, Max himself also said in answer to the community service he got, which he mentioned that a 5 year old will swear anyways when they grow up enough. I think the FIA just should keep profanity in F1, they already have F1 Kids or Junior whatever it is called. And Yuki Tsunoda literally got fined 40K Euros after saying Retard. It isn't even a bad word, it just means moron or brainless. Why fining this much for a word that isn't that bad? FIA is just drunk.

it turned itnto overly strict and quiet af (sue me for the f word fia if ya want to) sport where some drivers (ahem *cough cough*) act like crybabies after crashing or something! Its like its turning into a kids show to show toddlers to help them sleep! Like where is the excitment? Im 16, and watched since birth cuz my dad did since 1983 and he watched it while i was felling asleep or something. If I was crying he started playing sounds of f1 cars (a lot quieter tho obvy) and i calmed down and it was like a goodnight song for me as i enjoyed the sound so much and laughed and was happy af (sue me again) to see those cars go around and drivers batteling it out, now i don't even care realy when i hear the sound of an f1 car this days. I started to do carting cuz i loved f1 so much, but now 2 years ago i stoped cuz the idea of being in f1 or f1 academy at least now aint as fun to me anymore but rather jail like and go carting every once in a while with my friends or my dad. Also can we talk about how f1 drivers are like jailed even more than other celebrities. lets take dts for example, they have mics on and are recorded every second of a weekend for quite a few weekends and if they don't want to be recorded like animals in a zoo they show them as mean and the worst monster ever!
