The logistics of the Miami GP was amazing. Organizers did a great job. I’ve been to Austin and Indianapolis and Miami takes the cake. Yes, expensive, but very worth it. The food and drinks offering was way better than what I’ve experienced. It was super fun. I agree, the heat was something to consider. On Friday, I did a recognizance of the entire track (most of it) and I was dead at the end of the day. I think it was the hottest day too 😩 Maybe next year they can have more shaded/cooling off areas. Overall it was a great experience.

definitely curious to see if/what they change next year based on what they learned this time around. I’m hoping they’ll have cool down areas with fans/AC and water but we’ll see!

What was the parking situation? How did you get there?

We took an uber to a designated station where they had buses that drove us to the track

curious did you guys buy the general admission? how much are the tickets?

We had the family grandstand tickets and we bought them during the pre-sale. They still have tickets available now but prices are almost twice as much as they were last year depending on the location. I actually recently posted a video answering all questions + more because we ended up buying tickets to this year’s race!

Did you use any public transportation to get to the circuit? Buses / Uber etc.? Wondering how easy the journey from Downtown/Miami Beach would be without hiring a car. Many thanks.

We drove to a parking lot where they had shuttles that would then drop you off at the track and pick us up at the end as well. Honestly traffic is pretty crazy and Ubers are only allowed up until a certain area so I would suggest the shuttles instead

To be honest they are loud but they go by so fast that it’s not a constant loud noise if that makes sense. I had no issues at all but ultimately it’s whatever you prefer and will make you feel more comfortable

Did you pay for the Wednesday part? Or how did that work?

Yes! The tickets varied in prices but we had the VIP tickets for 72 Club and they were $200 each for that opening party

how did you get to the podium from the family grandstand ?

They had specific points on the track where they opened the gate once all cars were in parc fermé so we ran from there to the podium

Hello, your information is help a lot. Is better to take an Uber or rent a car? How difficult is it to get out in an Uber?

It depends on parking. Most streets are closed so you’d need to find a designated parking spot nearby which is why Uber is easier, however, getting picked up at the end of the race day was a whole mess because there was so much traffic the Uber kept canceling. If you have the option of booking a driver for the entire weekend so you don’t depend on the Uber app that would definitely be the way to go

How did you find out/ get tickets to the opening party?

Hi! There won’t be an opening party this year unfortunately and the app is the F1 Miami app, it’s different than the regular F1 app

Honestly the start/stop line though the ones we had were good because it was a DRS zone!

I’m not sure to be honest because I got them directly from F1 / Ticketmaster

@@DJBDE use Ticketmaster. Every seller is verified and you won’t fall into a scam and if some reason you do get caught in a scammer Ticketmaster will refund you that money.
