Baby breeza.. that's my hack.. and those formula containers where you have the scoops that you need already. For traveling : All my bottles have water, so all I need is the powder, and the container thing makes it easier instead of scooping it out😊😊

big thank you, so helpful!! cleaning up that stuff and sterilizing is my job and have been looking into making the process more efficient. You do heat up the water to 100 degrees celcius and let it cool down again, right? That is the most annoying part for me, thinking about buying the pre-made formula.

It's been a few years now since I've had a baby but yes, I did heat it up and then let it cool. :)

Hello, I'm trying to learn how to prepare formula. Can you boil water and then let it cool down and stay at room temperature to make bottles with? (Ie not store it in the fridge but instead on your counter top). Is there a time limit that you are supposed to use it by? Thanks

You can totally do that. I would boil water and pour it into a big, covered jug. I doubt that there's a time limit and you'll likely use it all up before 24-hours regardless. :)

Could i prepare a bottle with formula and kettle water and leave on table top and then its at hand to be used? Or is there time limit for that
@nicolesmith12674 жыл бұрын
@@emerganley6128 to my knowledge you can leave sterilised water at room temperature but you can't mix up the formula and then leave that for a long time. Formula that has been mixed has to be used within 2 hours if left at room temperature so there is a little bit of lee way. What I do is boil the water and poor the correct amount straight into the bottles and let it cool inside the bottle. The lid on the bottle means there is less chance of bacteria getting in the water. When it's time to feed my son the bottle I reheat the water by setting the bottle in boiling water and then once its warm I add the formula. If your baby will take it though (to the best if my knowledge) you don't even have to heat the water before adding the formula to the bottle. My baby only takes warm milk unfortunately.

We use an electric kettle to boil water and leave it on the counter. We boil s fresh batch each day, the kettle is really quick.

I had my 5th son today and we didn't even try breastfeeding, but he's not liking the hospitals nipples 🤔 I have to play with his mouth with the bottle for a good few minutes before he'll take it.
