Really good explanation as usual! But one further question: If zeta is greater than zero, is there resonance in my analysis if the undampened natural frequency or the dampened natural frequency are equal to the excitation frequency? Because damping has two effects on the vibration. It is reducing the amplitude and reducing (a little bit) the natural frequency. Does the solution in the frequency range consider the second effect?
