Horner JUST HUMILIATED Jos Verstappen After SHOCKING U-TURN!

Furthermore, the team principal seems to have a different opinion to Marko when it comes to the sister team Racing Bulls, one that aims to be more and more independent in the upcoming period from the Austrian squad. Max wants to remember, he got the Honda engine because of Horner, not his father, or Marko. Would any other team manager have signed to them after the McLaren debacle? And another thing, how many people take their dad to work?? Is this a Dutch "thing"? Hamilton broke away from his father after a while. Verstappen should do the same.

It's a miracle Max turned out so gregarious and reasonable (outside his car) when you look at his dad. I wonder how Jos is not embarrassed by his conduct? I genuinely don’t understand Max’s loyalty/how he turned out so good (he may be blunt and may be an aggressive driver - but everyone who knows him outside of F1 have said he’s really shy and genuine. Just look at how he reacted in the interviews after the last race!). He doesn’t seem to see the bad in what Jos did to him growing up and just lets Jos STILL treat him like a possession.

I’m not a Jos fan, but remember, back in the day, most Benetton No 2 drivers got ‘2nd car treatment’………remember also that there was quite a fanfare when he arrived in F1- people expected much from him. Cannot remember if Jos Benetton ‘pit fire’ was due to Benetton pit crew negligence or a second time of their trick of removing the fuel regulator valve..

The only option for max is merc. No way that’s happening for 2025. He won’t go into a car that can’t win consistently. Jos is like one of those parent managers that musicians and actors have. They are NEVER good for the talent as they aren’t there for the child they are managing, they are there for their ego. Jos isn’t even his manager! So why is he there? This all started from Horners WhatsApp scenario, and it's now just a internal power struggle with Horner and the Thais vs the Europeans (DM's boy/Marrko and Jos). Swelled by Newey leaving, this fire will burn for a while.. Wolff fans the fire, sees this as his time to get his hooks into Max..
