Modern pocket rockets are cool for putting down dyno numbers but theyre always missing the close ratio manual box and the "grippy, tight but weightless" drivefeel of the classics. Glad to hear they actually let you drive this one. Unfortunately it weighs the same as an m4 so im out.

Whenever i drive my infiniti fx35 i just wanna throw up from how inferior it is to the x3. I had an rs5 v8, and eventhough it was nice and fancy and sounded good, it was nothing compared to even my old tuned 335i let alone an m3 e92 or an m2. I drove it hard everyday for 6 years barely any maintenance requirements. The rs5 was at the shop every 2 months. Pissed me off like hell. All m2's and the old 1M are true driver's cars. Nothing compares except porsche.

The M2 has always been a great car because you get the engine of a bigger car and the weight of a small sports car… the problem is the suspension is so stiff, you feel every bump on the road and you start to hear rattles and noises in the cabin within weeks of owning it. Great weekend car to drive up a mountain pass but not as a daily commuter.

brake size doesnt really contribute to stopping power, only the width size of your tires effect stopping power the most. upgraded brakes are mainly for better cooling and reliability

Common misconception: Bigger brakes don’t always mean better braking, because you can only brake as much as the tires can. So hypothetically, if the small disc brakes from a bike were able to lock up the tires and modulate around that point, it would brake just as good as brakes that can barely fit in there. What bigger brakes do better though, is heat, and brake fade

BMW always underestimate the power that their cars produce. I've seen an M5 competition producing 652hp on carwow when they put it on the dyno. And BMW says it has 617hp to 625hp. But that just proves how good and fast they are. And they're definitely the best German cars for drifting. No other German car brand can make a car like a BMW that drifts, handles and feels powerful 🔥💯
