My dad had a 2004 Honda Civic hybrid with a manual transmission, he would routinely get 65+ mpg in that think. And the was still running strong at 450,000 miles. Biggest thing we had to do with it in it's life was changed the main battery. Which took my father and I (I was like 13) a couple of hours to do. Super easy. Only reason it was decommissioned was that it was rusted out. RIP Civic.

It's also way more powerful than the old Prius, which is great for people who felt the old Prius was too slow. Surprised they managed to keep such good fuel economy while also bumping the horsepower so much. The new Prius Prime has like 100 more horsepower than the old Prius!
