Ironically, IP sharing is common. Do you think your IP is 100% unique? nuh-uh! Every so and then, while you are sleeping (or not), your very IP address gets shared with someone from the other side of the world. That's not all: depending on your settings, there will be multiple connections to a server, essentially making the "many connections from one IP" happen. How do you think Firefox and Chrome speeds up the loading times of pages, if not by making multiple connections to request more files in a short while? I even got an error once because of that, in earlier days of Firefox.
