While ultimately I like the original bracelet the most, I know in this case it is not feasible. Maybe looking for a smaller clasp could help, but I doubt it. I think Forstner has done a good job being a reliable vintage bracelet replacement, even if their link to the original company is tenuous at best. I really like their bullet bracelet, and I do own their Klip, and while its very good looking, the 'clip' has come undone a couple of times on my wrist. In my opinion, none of these options do that gorgeous watch justice.

I’m definitely thinking of a possible rubber strap. I’d have to get a vintage omega clasp for it. I think a blue strap would suit the watch well.

That’s a tricky Omega to get the ‘right’ bracelet look for. I agree that the five-link BoR bracelet looks better on the watch. Really we should expect a milled clasp withe OTF micro-adjustment from everyone these days, although alot of big brands cheap out on the bracelet despite a lower quality and far higher price than the Forstner.

The price for the Forstner is very reasonable. A milled clasp might be a lot to ask at this price point… But I’m an unreasonable man. 😁🤣

Thanks for the insight on this vintage bracelet supplier. I like the bigger bracelet design, but I’m like you the design of “Bread of Rice” was not what I expected. Maybe the design is based off the 60’s? Seems the Komfit bracelet is from the NASA space program days. WORDS BY ZACH KAZAN: “Those who flew on the Mercury missions frequently chose the Komfit because it fit over their space suits.”
