Now there's a smart fisherman who knows what he's doing. Good job. Thanks for teaching us. I'm from up North, but the only thing I would suggest is that you let the snook eat it a little while longer before setting the hook. You're yank it out of their mouths a little too soon.

My son and I were there within a day or 2 of the 31st. There were dead fish lining the beaches from red tide, so we left. I guess we should’ve gone to the pier

Leave the snook alone til they open up.

Camera should focus on the fish rather than the back of fisherman.

Everytime i fish there they come out and tell me that i cant fish there.

Yeah they got certain areas restricted now because the pelicans are so bad. Honestly it was novice anglers that ruined for the rest of us. Too many people were snagging the birds.

@@joeantonopoulos2966 Thats usually how it goes. Last time i was there, a guy was on the beach side wading and he pull in a 42" off those rocks

Hook was too small bro. You need a 4/0 and you would hook up better.

I'll try that! Bigger hooks though mess with the presentation when you're using smaller baits. Plus a lot of these fish are smart so smaller hooks get more bites.
