I went through Basic at Jackson during the summer of 1987. Everything was exactly as I thought it would be. I have to say the training regimen was quite organized back then. The entire base was really squared away. I visited Jackson a few years ago, and there was tall grass and weeds everywhere. There was trash on the sides of some of the roads. I hope it is more squared away now. I was in the 2nd of the 28th Infantry Regiment when it was at Jackson.

@@AaronBarlow22 I hope so man, the recruiter said once it and if it gets passed we need to send a reenlistment waiver request to MEPS and that would be the final one and I messaged him this week and he said that MEPS had requested one thing from the recruiters for a waiver, but he didn’t specify which one I’m assuming it’s for the reenlistment one since the moral waiver wasn’t for MEPS, this whole process has been very frustrating.
