Fort Morgan & Civil War Era Mobile

We begin our video swing through the Gulf region from Fort Morgan, one of the forts that played a crucial role in the defense of Mobile, AL during the Civil War. It is here that Union Admiral David Farragut famously shouted "Damn the Torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead!" while passing by the fort during the Battle of Mobile Bay.
