I would LOVE to see more game specific videos/reviews (with the game names in the titles). :) When I'm scouring KZbin for reviews and opinions of various games Foster the Meeple seldom shows up in the search results compared to other videos that include the game name. Just a thought. Keep doing your thing!

You guys introduced me to the world of modern board games and inspired me to get this game (as well as several others). I know this game is a 'lighter weight' game to you guys, but my husband and I were a little confused on our first play-through. After watching this video, I experience a lot of aha's! I love how you explain things as you go and also the strategy summary at the end of the video. FUN! Looking forward to our next play :-) Jamie, you're a gracious loser and Jeff, you're a gracious winner. Very refreshing.

Just got this for my birthday so watched and enjoyed. One thing I noticed - at 25:30 Jamie has completely emptied her hand of 4 by playing two and tucking two. But then at 25:43 she suddenly has cards again and in the discard phase she puts 4 cards in her yard?

I had to rewatch this to confirm, but Jamie’s draw pile is off screen, and likely she edited out the part where she drew her hand back to 4. The magic of editing!

@@FostertheMeeple Yes, but that doesn't seem right? You only draw back up after you put unused cards in the yard. Unless having 0 cards at that point is a special case?

Absolutely LOVE this game. Have almost done a playthrough multiple times, but I think Max isn't ready to get destroyed again... Also, Em and I are currently going through Schitts Creek!!! Its making us laugh comparably as much as some of our favorites like The Office, Parks and Rec, and Community.

LOVE that you guys are watching Schitt's. Such a great show! We also love the Office and Community. I can't get on board for Parks n Rec but Jamie adores it. I've watched the Office from start to finish many many times haha. Tell Max to man up and take his losses on the chin! I absolutely CRUSH Jamie repeatedly and she still gives it the college try. (she will disagree but pay no mind to that). Go team Jeff and Doolin!

Hey there! Thank you for all your videos! I'm a new SUB and love all your thoughts and opinions!!!! (except on Pandemic! hehe not every game is for everyone! ) So, idk if you guys even allow this but at 9:11 you upgraded your fort and Jeff was allowed to follow. Can you always follow on a build fort action or was he supposed to discard a Matching symbol or book to be able to follow. Literally just got this game yesterday and the instructions are a little confusing for me! THX for everything!

I know this is kinda late. But I love you guys and wanted to learn to play this game. I feel you interpreted one the rules wrong. You don't have to play your public action, when you play a card, and you can do them in any order (private then public or just private)
